I'm sharing a unique meditation process of my own. It should be done standing in front of the mirror or lying flat on the bed. The palm of the left hand to be placed upon the navel in such a way that the middle of the palm is touching the navel skin to skin. Then the palm of the right hand to be placed upon the back of the left palm in a very soft, relaxing, devoted & receiving manner. Closing eyes is optional. However, eyes need to be open in certain situations. Full concentration should be focused on the navel. Now the following words have to be uttered from deep inside the heart with complete devotion & sincerety. Lips & tongue should be moved while uttering the words but without making any type of sound. ***O Almighty! I have surrendered to your absolute power, dominion and superiority, forever defeated, surrendered and enslaved. Subdue and crush all my self-arrogance and self-pride to your superiority. Trample my head, nose and forehead under your glorious and omnipotent mighty footsteps. Seal the symbol of my absolute defeat, surrender and submission to your authority and dominance in my navel forever. Accept my standing with hand tied upon my navel in front of you as a signature under that seal. As long as you like, keep me standing in front of you like a defeated prisoner and a humble servant. By this, be pleased with me and put out the fire of your anger. (Ended) The words can be repeated as many times as on wishes. The position of left hand along with right hand should be moving upon or just below the navel. The wrist of the left hand (with the palm of right hand resting upon it) should be resting just below or upon the navel occasionally so that the pulse of the left hand should be pulsating there. In this way, when the words are chanted inside the heart while the hands are tied upon the navel, the latent surrendering emotions of the heart become unwreathed like dam-breaking tide and flood the mind with the feeling of unconditional surrender and sweet defeat to the Almighty. Navel is called the second brain. It is the center of biological sense and submissive emotions. When the center of this biological sense is stimulated and the submissive emotions connected to this can be diverted towards spirituality it can heal your mind and help you to get rid out of anxiety, depression & arrogance. Also a revival for sexual emotions.

Masha’Allah. I saw this video over a year ago and have tried to practice the recommended 15 minutes of dhikr after each salah. Alhamdulillah it has made such a difference to me, lifting my emaan, helping me feel closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’alaa and making me much more motivated to study Qur’an and implement the Shariah in our home. I strongly recommended making the intention to do this every day, setting aside time after every salah in sha’Allah, just 15 minutes minimum or longer when you are able. My children see me do this and are now following me with this practice Alhamdulillah!

although it's the kinda childish comment, what I am gonna say but, I feel so happy, its through the smile on my face whenever I saw a person from another race or country , call the name of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and talk about the Islam and shows of his love towards Islam, I am from Pakistan and I am a Qureshi from Hasham Tribe. I have never been to other countries, and I think that only here we are the true Muslims or Muslims should be like us, however, i know that every human can be a Muslim can be a good Muslim but as i mentioned at the start that its seems childish thought ,but really it feels me so Good when i saw a Muslim from another nation, May Allah shower His blesss upon all the muslims in the world , may Allah forgive us all , ameen sum ameen ,

Mashallah!!! Some minutes later I was trying to meditate to clean my mind and now this video appears in front of me!!!
true story: theres this one time when i was desprate for money, i was really in need at that time. i was supposed to be somewhere and i needed money for it. i didnt have anywhere else to turn so i started saying "Ya Allah, help me." and suddenly a car hit the backside of my car it was a small scratch. the person who ran over it gave me a 100 bucks to repair it. I was lost of words. I wasn't that religious, i've made countless of mistakes and im covered in tattoos but yet Allah still notices me. Bottomline, to whoever is dealing with a hard time now trust me...the power of prayer is so powerful. Allah knows and he's always there for his creation. May everyone be blessed and protected. Alhamdullilah. AAmin Ya Raabal Al AAmin.

Great episode. Indeed Islam has best , the most and the highest form of Mindfulness. The beauty about Islam is that it makes mindfulness more logic. So in the non Islamic / secular mindfulness practices, they would spend long time explaining why people should be mindful of their movements, breath , actions, etc. In Islam, it's pretty straightforward: ALLAH mentioned in the Surat AZ-ZALZALLA( The Earthquake) that "whosever does good equal to the weight of an atom, shall see it. And whosoever dos evil equal to the weight of an atom, shall see it." And of course many other verses about the same meaning. So if that's the case we should be mindful of ALL our doings, movements, words, in every single moment as if we watch him all the time (he is already watching us all the time). Ghazali has a great book about mindfulness and self discipline (in Arabic it's called 'Muraqaba') Also Ghazali said clearly in his book that that in our whole life, time is only about 3 types of hours. The past our, whether it's good or bad, it passed already for that it's equal. and the future hour where we don't know , as it unseen, also we don't whether we will get there to that future hour or not. and the third hour, is the most important one, the PRESENT HOUR, or the Present moment, where we should be practicing mindfulness and patience, and live this moment as if our last moment , because it might the last one. Again thank you very much Dr. Rania for the heart touching and authentic episode.

Dec'24: My takeaways + notes: 1. Retreat - tie to your prayers, make intention of itiqaaf before every prayer 2. Reflect - after prayers do dhikr of Allah - eg. tasbih, ayat al kursi, Allahumma barik fil mawti wa fima ba’dal mawt’(5times), ya noor(11times), ya qaviyo(11 times) and more 3. Remember - remember greatness and blessings of Allah One tip by my side: Keep in mind that "don't spend even a single hour without remembrance of Allah" Jazakallah khair!

BENEFITS OF ISTIGHFAR ►Istighfar removes anxiety and Du'as are answered. ►Istighfar opens the door of sustenance. ►Istighfar opens the door of mercy. ►Istighfar opens the door of knowledge. ►Istighfar is also gateway of productivity ! ►Istighfar relieves you when you feel that sadness within you, when you are disturbed and frustrated, and also when anxiety surrounds you. Always say Astaghfirullah Astaghfirullah… ~~Don’t leave Istighfar A man once came to al-Hasan al-Basri and complained to him: “The sky does not shower us with rain.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness (i.e. say أستغفر ألله).” Then another person came to him and said, “I complain of poverty.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.” Then another person came to him and complained, “My wife is barren; she cannot bear children.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.” The people who were present, said to al-Hasan: “Everytime a person came to you complaining, you instructed them to seek Allah’s forgiveness?” Al-Hasan al-Basri said, “Have you not read the statement of Allah? ‘I said “ Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12] There are two things in the earth that give a person safety and security from the punishment of Allah. The first has been removed, whilst the second still remains. As for the first, it was the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). “Allah would not punish them while you were among them.” [al-Anfal (8):33] As for the second, it is istighfar. “Allah would not punish them as long as they sought forgiveness.” [al-Anfal (8):33] أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… Do not ever leave istighfar! Please share and remember that you will receive the reward for all those who make istighfar, due to your reminder. Astaghfirullaaha wa ‘atoobu ‘ilayhi. I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him. (Recite one hundred times during the day) It was reported in Saheeh Muslim that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said: “I seek forgiveness one hundred times in a day.” [Muslim] Du'a for seeking forgiveness: Dua of Prophet Adam (A.S.) Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfirlana watar hamna lana koonanna minal khasireen [7:23] ”Our Lord ! we have sinned against ourselves and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost." رَبَّنا ظَلَمنا أَنفُسَنا وَإِن لَم تَغفِر لَنا وَتَرحَمنا لَنَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ [SURAH AL-A`RAF, VERSE 23] Du'a of Yunus (A.S) repenting to Allah in the belly of the whale: “ LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNY KUNTU MINATHAULIMEEN” [21:87] “There is none worthy of worship except You. You are pure. Verily I am amongst the oppressors.” [Al-‘Anbya’ 87] Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said about the Invocation of Yunus “None who is experiencing difficulty employs it except that Allah would relieve him of his difficulty.” [At-Tirmidhi] Nooh (A.S) asked for the forgiveness of Allaah The Almighty, repenting by saying: Rabbi Inneee A-o’od’u Bika An As-alaka Maa Laysa Lee Bihee I’lm Wa Illaa Taghfirlee Wa Tarh’amneee Akum Minal Khaasireen [11:47] “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.” (Surat Hūd, 11: 47) We must recite this dua’a to have full faith in the wisdom of Allah under all good and bad circumstances because Allah is all-knowing; and humbly seek His help to keep ourselves on the right path. Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni. (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me). Say: Astaghfirullah al-ladhi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu ilayhi It says in hadith, whoever says it seven times his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield. Say: SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi Whoever says it hundred times, his sins will be forgiven even though they may be as much as the foam of the sea. Say: la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah lahul mulku wa lahaul hamdu wa huwa a la kuli shay’in qadeer. And say the many other forms of repentance that are prescribed by Allah. ALLAH HAS FULL ABILITY TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT! AND ONLY HE (ALLAH) HAS THAT ABILITY. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication). He becomes shy to return them empty.” [Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi] :;;

@funa2939 Жыл бұрын
I think we need you or your team to explain the technical way as well. Like the breathing technique in scientific meditation is so helpful to reduce stress hormones, etc. I don’t know whether there is such any in Islamic praying. Unfortunately, even though I had been praying/dzikr/reciting Qur'an as much as I could, I felt like I was not doing it properly as Rasulullah and his companions did, and didn't get the positive effects I expected until I combined it with certain breathing technique which was taught by non moslem practitioners and researchers. Somehow, I believe that actually the prophet might know about it, yet we are just lack of gurus to teach us the proper way to do the praying that truly gives us peace and other positive impacts.

Ikr. as a psychology student who learns Islamic studies, I read a lot of benefits Islamic meditation in journal but my local ustadth or ulama understands it as focus on dhikir & praying. Meanwhile it still feels different from mindfulness meditation. My brain feels shut down for a moment and peace while doing it. I tried to follow meditation ihsan alexander it's quite near as I feel in mindfulness meditation. I hope we get gurus specialized with these things, it would be wonderful a lot.

You have to be mentally strong to just shun the thoughts as soon they start coming ... Seek refuge from hamazati shaitan his whispers and his coming near to you.. after every prayer esp. fajr and maghrib learn all the daily adkhars from fortress muslims and recite them without fail Recite surah naas thrice or more and spit on your heart and hands wiping full body.. Read loads of darud too... listening to Quran recitations be it for 10 minutes daily or better if you hear Surah Baqarah.. I have implemented all this myself..and has helped me alot!..May it benefit you too be iznillah..Ameen!
