This isnt a sect this is a knowledge of purification where the heart is filled with the love of Allah and the prophet. Prophet SAW said "remember got until they call you crazy". Dont believe me as your mashayikh

Where in the Sunnah does it say the Prophet pbuh or the sahabah r.a performed this type of islamic dance? Please give quotes references. Not opinion. I'm not against sufism it's in fact part of islamic doctrine it's a science just like science of fiqh science of Tajweed etc sufism is a science that focuses on purifying the nafs of its evil traits. I just reject the sufi performance as it has no place in islam. It was introduced by some sufis later in history.

Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) came to my house while two girls were singing beside me the songs of Buath (a story about the war between the two tribes of the Ansar, the Khazraj and the Aus, before Islam). The Prophet (p.b.u.h) lay down and turned his face to the other side. Then Abu Bakr came and spoke to me harshly saying, "Musical instruments of Satan near the Prophet (p.b.u.h) ?" Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) turned his face towards him and said, "Leave them." When Abu Bakr became inattentive, I signalled to those girls to go out and they left. It was the day of 'Id, and the Black people were playing with shields and spears; so either I requested the Prophet (p.b.u.h) or he asked me whether I would like to see the display. I replied in the affirmative. Then the Prophet (p.b.u.h) made me stand behind him and my cheek was touching his cheek and he was saying, "Carry on! O Bani Arfida," till I got tired. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) asked me, "Are you satisfied (Is that sufficient for you)?" I replied in the affirmative and he told me to leave.

+bilal malik this hadith does not indicate in any way that Sufi dancing is sunnah. It is an invention after the death of the rasool pbuh but jzk for sharing.

Translation: It is narrated by Anas (R.A) that the Habashis were presenting their art in front of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and “THEY WERE DANCING (Yarqasun)” while saying: Muhammadun Abdun Salih (i.e. Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم the righteous slave). The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) asked: What are they saying? They said: Muhammadun Abdun Salih [Musnad Ahmed bin Hanbal, Volume No.3, Page no. 152]
