Someone who helps the souls of humans transition to a better place. Very powerful scene the way he, for a brief moment, gives her a glimpse into the afterlife.

Its also total nonsense. Doctors are treated like Gods in hospitals, and they certainly wouldn't do a nurses' job of pushing around patients and what not handling directly. They would have ignored or directed her to intake and a waiting area.
