i just redid my entrance. to the left the path sends you to town and the residential area. To the right is an enchanted valley, farm area and campsite. best of both worlds.

Looking forward to seeing how this evolves - my island is mostly pretty natural, and although I want to include some more architectural design, it’s been challenging to merge the two.

Well done! I think it was a sound and practical decision to merge the urban & natural ideas. A fully realized island community would have both. Love the ideas & the works in progress. If you eventually burn out on ACNH, I will enjoy whatever comes next.

the island changes are looking good! i like the idea of having a more natural urban part of the island that fades to a more foresty nature other half of the island. maybe having some villagers living in the suburbs and then a couple living more in cottages in the forest giving a mixture of styles to play with.
