i'm in love with your builds. i wanted to go to some creative college or something like design university of interior but looking at the designs you've made i threw that thought out. anyway! wanted to ask how you got some of the walls, these plants and other decorations. which DLC did you use? did you get the plants by collecting pocket(or picket??idk) fences magazines? the vault chest in front of the bed and stuff like that? thank you!!

I have only the vanilla game but love making a fishing pier complete with a bait shack/fish n chips place. I made a fish smoker using the privy using a pillar glitch for the campfire and a fish drying rack. I placed the fire on a metal floor and put a screen door on the privy. And I added a pet cat hanging around for fish scraps.

I didn't know about the up and down movement with the left bumper. Or the door. And I love the fireplace. Great ideas I think I'll try some smaller houses.

I’m on PS4 and I don’t have even the fake keys. Most of the detail is just… not there. Does this require additional mods and/or patches for me to use it? Nice vid! Still useful, as I downgraded FO4 like so many others (and in doing so still get to use this mod and everything from The Midnight Ride).

You know when i think about it. Spectacle Island is the best place for base building. It is huge, has a pretty high build limit, and can support multiple structures. Like an armory, house, a greenhouse, and a power armor garage. Perfect for a base.

This is definitely an end game thing to do.

Tried to recreate the build to the letter and it didn't work out for me. When i try to build the ceiling+ stairs for the ground floor it just won't snap. Wasted a whole day on it.

I never time traveled when I did all the homes and I never got the pillar recipe and I was never told to get Niko materials. Even on my old island, I did get the pillar recipe, but I was never told to give him materials either. Idk what’s going on and I did all 30 homes already, too.

I always loved a creepy looking church in a settlement but with my playtroughs they never look the way as i intended. And the rare occasions they do the game freezes and gives a error screen.

This feels excessive and quite extra. As someone who is excessive and quite extra, I LOVE IT. Cannot wait to start building nicer structures! Especially in the drive in, oooo so much space! Great video, first time watcher and really enjoyable.

the bedhead is unironically the closest thing this game ever got to having my natural hair. and thats why im glad i can just change the system clock cause purposefully avoiding the game for a entire month straight just isnt fun

What mods?

Homeplate is my favorite home in the game. You can tell it was the original home they planned on before the settlement system being it's missing quite a lot of settlement features that are literally required like crafting tables. A few minor mods fix that though and after the fact homeplate becomes the best home. My favorite play throughs have been me ignoring the Minutemen and settlements and living out of diamond city. It feels like the right/proper way to play the game. As the settlement system always felt like it was shoe horned into the game. For how many settlements make no sense and how few have named settlers. As if they just converted random areas to be settlements. Covenant is a great example of this lazy conversion into a settlement and nothing works right there. Homeplate is also central on the map. Like Megaton was, so it was supposed to be the player's primary hub location.
