10:36 A piece of advice if I may. A child who doesn't hold ice-cream when loading a dinghy is much more useful than the one who does. 😀 What was such a hurry that poor Elie couldn't finish her RARE treat before being forced back into longshoremanship. Sniffle. 😞 Poor little darling. MEAN mommy!

Loved the variety in this video. Beautiful snorkeling shots and what a beautiful hike. Interesting how you store your provisions. Always wondered where you put everything. Enjoy your cleanse. Be sure to let everyone know how that went. Can’t wait for the next video.

15:50 I must say this path has best of two worlds - the sides are paved for the civilized of us and the middle is left raw for the 12 year old savages amongst us.

And by the way, personally I HATE videos on home screen that start every time I open the said home screen. Just saying. You should call Ipsos to conduct a survey on that.

What in the world is "day sailing"?

Great video guys as always you have come so far… serious question from part time outremer cruisers with 9 and 10 year olds onboard only ever done 10 weeks trips at the most cruising but about to go full time, do you allow screen time or digital time for kids and how much or is it not an issue once into the groove ? Want to try start with the right approach 🧐 any feedback experience with your kids welcome and yes we will be homeschooling

Screens are a tricky one and different families land in different places. We’ve always been on the low side of the spectrum. Long story short, Kieran gets one hour a day, Eily isn’t interested in it and we also watch a movie as a family a time or two a week. Thanks for watching!

I hate the word "cruisers" when used in relation to people on boats. I have a special idiosincrasia towards this whole "cruising" vs. "sailing" distinction. After seeing entire families cross oceans on 40ft boats seeing a youtube "expert" claiming some boat is "a true blue water cruiser" makes me want to reach for a (water) gun. But yes, like it or not, you ARE tourists. You come to a place for a short time for entertainment. Tourist is the opposite of a "local". So you are tourists by definition. Why the sudden interest to terminology? Just drive! 🙂

you definitely not tourists and even travelers isn't quite right. you probably need a new definition to describe what you do. The phrase "Journey before Destination" comes to mind. especially since your journeys can be so long and full of adventure. Maybe "Journiers"?
