I had the same problem needing ice until I bought a vevor 55 quart 12 volt refrigerator. For power, I use a li time 100 amp hour lithium ion iron phosphate battery. The fridge uses around 10 percent per day and it works awesome. I ordered the fridge through lowes and it comes with a 90 day return policy which is great if needed. FYI the battery weighs 24 pounds and the fridge is no heavier than a cooler with ice. Thanks for the great video.

Hello, I'm a new subscriber and my husband and I are wondering how you deter bears and other wildlife?

It is very rare to see a bear for us overall, we have had them in the campgrounds north of Newberry otherwise other than a quick glimpse nothing in many years. We keep all our food in our car when we’re not using it just to be on the safe side. Last year people on the campsite across from us had a bear come to their site and take their food that was left out on the picnic table. For us out on the trails way off the beaten path we watch out for Moose a bit more as we don’t want to stumble on one in a tight trail.

@DirtyJakTheDustyBean Ok, thank you so much for your response. We really like the octopus tent and are really considering purchasing it. We had a beautiful travel trailer and decided to sell after 6 yrs. Although we loved it, they are a lot of maintenance and can get quite costly, so we sold it. We are missing camping so much that we have been researching inflatable tents, and so far, the octopus is our favorite.

@denisedelgado5515 so far we love it! We do have a link in the description below the video if you choose to purchase it- will help you or us at some point (lol- we are new at this). There is good and bad for both campers and tents. One thing we love about the tent is when we’re not using it we don’t have to worry about it at all (no maintenance, no insurance, storage fees, etc). It sits in our basement until we go out again. Been great, almost kinda puts everyone who has been in it in awe!
