Post watching. May I suggest the comment as of today 1/1/2000 the charge is $$ . I am watching as I am 26 days from doing this cruise and boy prices have changed also Alfredo is a charge. Was the same as the Coral Princess but was remodeled removing many of the features that a lot of passengers had enjoyed. I believe that is why the Coral wasn't changed. We all have our preferences. We cruise Princess because they do not have an amusement park.

Got Married in the “Sanctuary “ on the Princess Island on July,11th 2015. Grand Mediterranean Cruise 🚢 which ended in Barcelona, Spain … Princess Staff helping us prep for our big day we’re so amazing ! The memories from that cruise and all the beautiful ports are ones I go Back to all the time . We are still Married and just in love today as back then .. blessed

Great video! Looking forward to spending 28 days on the Island Princess this summer with my parents and brother. Hoping internet works decently as I'll have a little bit of work to do. Actually on Royal, you can log out of 1 device and log in to another with just 1 account. I do it all the time between my phone and laptop.

Thank you for the wonderful video and excellent commentary. We have booked a cruise (Northern Europe ) for October 2023. We chose the “Plus” option and wondered where on the ship the specialty coffees are available. Are they served only in the Horizon Court Buffet or are they available in other places on the Island Princess? Also, is there a soft serve ice cream place on board? We enjoyed one on a previous Princess cruise on a different ship. Thanks again for all the great information.

Hi! Great video! We have been on 6 Princess cruises but never on the Island Princess so I was thrilled to find your video! We will be on the Island Princess in October for 2 weeks to Norway to see the Northern Lights. Super excited! One question: is there a Wheelhouse Bar on the ship? The deck plan shows one but I didn’t see it on the video. Thanks again!

Great walkthrough! We'll be doing the reverse in 2024. Question for you. Did the ship stay on the Fort Lauderdale time the whole cruise? Were from the east coast and leaving from CA. Trying to determine if we'll be waking up at 4am ship time the entire cruise haha!

Great video tour, but I can tell you have been quite “Loyal to Royal” in the past - the term “Centrum” is actually copyrighted by Royal Caribbean Group for the Atriums on their ships. The term Princess use for their atriums is “The Piazza”

Great tour, thanks. Question: which MDR did you prefer? I heard there was a problem with air conditioning…everywhere including cabins was hot. Did you encounter this?

Hello, We were at the Bordeaux MDR. It was ok. With all honesty, there were nights that we did not care for any of the menu selections (this is Princess-wide, not ship specific) so we ended up either at the Horizon Court or grabbing a burger at the Grill on the Sun deck. We were on in May for the PC route and did not have any issues with the AC in the room or around the ship. I hope this is not anything new as we are on the Island for almost 2 months this coming summer!

Thank you! The Internet was not bad. (Not fast, but not horrible either, about 5-12 Mbps.) We received the Internet as part of our booking perks along with beverage, dining, etc... The Medallion app... ehhh... but the medallion itself is pretty cool! Ship is simple, but crew is awesome and there is about everything that one would want on board. Happy Cruising!

Great ship tour. I am looking at doing the same cruise as you are for next April. Are there any Zumba or any other dance classes during sea day? Are there much activities going on during sea day? How are the main theater shows?

Great trip, you will enjoy it! There are fitness activities and other activities aboard and a schedule is in your stateroom daily. The theatre shows were lacking on our time aboard the Island Princess. There were a two comedians and one main headliner show with two other music shows, but nothing that stood out as impressive (unfortunately). We were never bored and had plenty to do even during sea days. Going through the locks was an all-day adventure. The ports were fun and we enjoyed them. Happy Sailing!

Thanks for watching! Princess in general is an older crowd with just a few kids. My boy was the ONLY minor on the Island for our route, but the ladies in Camp Discovery were amazing! Our current cruise on the Emerald Princess has 18 of under 12 year old on board, but still an older crowd. There is a group of 13-17 that hangs out, but have been good in public. Happy Cruising!

If you want an abouslety relaxing Cruise do IP. Sure did wonders for me. Ship dosen't have all the rides and etcetera but has Discovery for kids and teens. My work is keeping me from cruising at the moment.

It was May, 2022 when we were last aboard, so they may have changed. There were a couple singer/dancing shows, comedians, and plenty of lounge music.

To be honest, I played the machines. There were table games, but the casino is fairly small which is expected with the smaller ship. I will put out a general inquiry on the Princess Cruisers facebook group, maybe someone is on board. Happy Cruising!
