I needed this guide. I haven’t even done the quest to start island sanctuary as I had so little interest in doing anything with it. I thought for sure the motorcycle was going to be a cash shop mount, but when I found out it was island sanctuary, I knew I would have to do this dumb crap. The faster I can go, and least amount of time I have to spend doing this- the better

What do you need to do to upgrade the Granary if that also uppgrades? I saw the workshop and planning on gathering for it, but would love to know if the granary also upgrades and what it needs :D

The granary and cabin upgrade at 13. The workshops upgrade at 14. The mats are mostly from the cave.

Honestly, controller is pretty easy. Make the auto-move macro, set it to like RT + A (Xbox) on the XHB and then A is default confirm. So it’s just RT + A -> A -> Repeat

There's also a nice loop of 7 Cotton Bolls around x27, y29, and some nearby. Also, you can craft any apples you pickup into feed for additional exp. In addition, there are 6 rock salts on the northern end of the Coral Sands around x31, y21 in a cave, then you can hop out of the cave, grab 5 things around there to keep farming the salts if you need them.

You forgot the exp from getting to the Invisioned points that lead to the visits of NPCs the last one have 15k for example

god damn that mountain spot is the best small QoL whe have got better then nothing :D on pc that macro is good for afk farm but if done actvively is annoyng, i just spam confirm close to the spot i move not so much at all cause is all to compressed on that spot :)

Does Island Sanctuary give you something for the "normal" game world? Like a Glam gear, mount ecc.? 🤔

Yes, you get various sets of clothing, a multitude of mounts including a bike and a crocodile and various other useful items you can buy with the island currency such as paints, materia and barding for your chocobo.

Maybe u mean the Spectrine, thats in the new cave in the mountain, in the room on the left near the little cave lake x24/y18. Could also be the Marble, thats from the stones in the river a little bit north of the crossing around x18/y22

@@HerzogZosa it’s not buggy. It’s a new material that was just added. You would only get it after the 6.4 patch. (Marble).

ill prob grind it out to 15 or something when my "Gather 30k times" Achieve pops, but not manually, ill set up a keyboard macro that presses this macro for me on repeat and just come back every 15min to empty out the 999 mats, worked wonderfully last time Rank10-12

@Saki Yoshida XIV people who do macro crafts, do it in a closed private home or appartment, not that id do it since i dont craft much at all, but that seems smarter xD The Island can technically be closed off as well, and even then the chance someone visits and reports in the moments ur letting it go on its own is quite slim :T

Im rank 12 and the quest to blow open the cavern is red there's no new crafts or anything. Idk what I'm missing because you said you could.

I'm lvl 12 and just opened it. You need to make a set of tools for them, spelunking tools I believe. Should be in your crafting log, once you have that you hand it to the mammet and you're good to go

Rank 12 get quest from annoying mammet - quest unlocks mammet tool for cave opening. GENERALLY: Do any quest as soon as possible!

First go to the bottom of the mountain and find the Point of Interest (like in Eureka). Activate it, it'll give you the cutscene and a new craft will be added right on top of your instrument's list (steel Hammer was its name, I think). And the Pathfinder in your hideaway is gonna be unlocked either on R14 or R16. Wish you luck :)
