I've never been but would like to one day. What's the deal here? Is the road closed in 1 direction and ordinary riders are allowed to hoon it? Is there a fee or something?

Yeah that's exactly it, the road gets turned into a one way system and whilst the racing is off the road is open to the public and as it's a derestricted road any speed applies. The police are fairly brilliant over there, if the roads derestricted do your thing, if there's a posted speed limit don't breach it, they pull your pants down otherwise.

Sounds awesome. Ive got a riding mate now who did his CBT this year and full license in February. We've been talking about going but didn't realise we would actually be able to ride some of the track.

@@Ellis01234567890 you can ride the whole track with it being on public roads, there's speed limits as usual and then certain parts have derestricted sections like the mountain which is a tourist favourite! Get it booked you won't be disappointed 💯

I helped him pick the busa off the road .. he seemed fine , but would have been sore later . Thanks to the gent and his Mrs for trying to warn other riders. Hope you're OK James
