In 2016 I took my now late father for his last trip to the IOM TT races he first went in 1946 , anyway Mark Higgins the world champion rally driver from the Isle of Man was doing practice runs after the bike racing before the roads reopened, on the Friday after the last bike race he was due to do the official lap but unfortunately a rider was killed at Kepple Gate and a traveling marshall crashed going to the accident, he was very badly injured so Mark Higgins didn't do the lap but check out the practice lap he did earlier that week, it's as mad as Davy Todds lap.👍🏼

Ie said it before and I'll say it again. Davey Todd is Johnny Macs' protege. For such a young fella, he's got insane talent, and is a thoroughbred road racer of the old skool variety. A fellow Yorkshireman too, no less! 😁 Davey, Dean Harrison, Ian Hutchinson are leading the yorkshire racer charge. Best of luck to you davey lad.

@@TheInfantry98Nonsense. The short circuit riders approach the physical limits of adhesion as closely as possible and consistently so, without stepping beyond. If the do, however, go beyond & they have an off, it’s often a typical day at the office for them. Road racing is limited by different factors, but one includes “not crashing here”, no matter what. If you rode TT like a short circuit, you’d be almost certainly dead within a few seasons. It’s very much a skill to know how hard to push as well as executing what your skills advise you should be able to carry out.
