One of the most naturally gifted riders I ever saw and I've seen a lot of riders over the years. He wouldn't of crashed if it wasn't for the the fact that there was oil on the track either. He was just getting started. Definitely gone too soon. R.I.P. DJ.

For what i think... DJ lives in the thoughts of the people. He is alive in the eyes and memory of road racing fans. In some way he cheated death.. For me David lives, even exactly 9 years after his accident. So I say... "happy birthday David!" :)

Seem's like a really great guy, another tragic loss. But I don't understand why music has to be played when the focus is on the bike? We want to hear his bike, not the music! Always annoyed when bike vids are spolit with music.

Yet Adrian Archibald went through just before him , so maybe it was more than the oil, maybe just went past the limit of grip , was a Thursday the fastest day of the practise week typically. Also a new bike for that year , wasn't fully tested setup wise . If anyone would know it would be John mcguinness, the marks on the road would tell alot.
