One thing you should know about darker shades is that they will have different undertones so it’s not like you will get the same color using 2 drops of the next shade (that comes in the green bottle) as the color you’re getting using 4 drops of this one. I have both, I originally bought the green one and it looked natural on my body but way too orange on my face, even when I used only one drop. So I had to buy the lighter shade for my face. Also, if you wanna try “pre-mixed” tanner, I recommend Bondi Sands! Looks natural, lasts long, and smells sooo good. (the only bad product from them is ironically their face tanning lotion, but everything else is A1)

This is super helpful! I've wanted to look into buying Bondi Sands because I've heard its well-suited for light skin tones. I really did like how this light color looked but I can't be using 1/2 a bottle per week!

Ethan Blackhall Usually 2 drops because if I use 1 for some reason I always fail to mix it properly with my moisturizer and I end up having uneven tan. But 2 works perfectly fine.

If you have red/pink skin you probably would love the green tanning bottle. It's the medium tan color as well.

You’re making more work for yourself than is necessary. Find a little bowl and make one full batch to use for your whole body. For example, say you’re using approximately 3 drops per tablespoon for your leg. Simply estimate how much you may need for your body, and make a big batch- perhaps you’ll use 5 tablespoons of lotion and 15 tanning drops. Mix it altogether in your little bowl and then dip your fingers in there for application. Some people will use a lot less lotion, and some more.

I'm not 100% sure but I have a guess... I study in esthetic and I learned that the "blackness" blackheads happens when the sebum inside the "pore" oxydes (Just like an apple becomes brownish in contact with air (oxygen)... It oxydes)... Well, if I'm not wrong, drop tanners (maybe all of tanners, I'm not so sure) works by oxydation too... For that reason, it would make sense that ur blackheads become darker because the sebum goes through more oxydation... I don't know if I'm clear, English is not my first language 😅 and I will have to check for sure, but that would be a logic phenomenon in that case.

Hey! Yes I did it right before bed. But I did sleep in long pants and long sleeved shirt. But no transfer on anything!! And I heard from other people that they haven’t had other problems with it transferring on anything either. Compared to other products

you could get the medium and add only 1 or 2 drops and if you feel it isn’t dark enough then add more! 😁
