The Isle of Skye is a jaw-dropping, incredible place to spend a few days in Scotland. We will show you the best of the Isle of Skye and the top places to visit on the Isle of Skye. We have been touring the Scottish Highlands on a travel series and we arrive in the Isle of Skye on the last leg of our epic trip. Do go back and watch some of the other episodes here. • Highlands of Scotland
In the episode on the Isle of Skye, we will walk the Fairy Pools, stay in the quiet and tranquil setting of Stein a township on the Northwest side of Skye.
Our Airbnb was amazing. Here is a link to where we stayed.
www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/18386493 (we are not affiliated with this link)
We take some challenging early morning hikes at the Quiraing and The Old Man of Storr. The scenery on the east coast of the Isle of Skye was simply fantastic.
We visit a Salmon Smokehouse the only non-commercial one on Skye for a fantastic tour and tasting of the delicious Salmon.

We'll also introduce you to our new friends Linus and Lucy the little piggies that live next door to our Airbnb. So join us for an unforgettable tour with lots of valuable information to help you with our trip to the Isle of Skye.

Hi from Spain. We are planning visit next July. Iwould like to know how many days you recommend to visit Isle of Skye and if you sleep always in the same place. Very nice your airbn. Thanks for your answer

Hi Pedro, I think 4 days is enough time to see the main sights, but it’s worth staying longer so you don’t have to rush and to really have the time to enjoy it. Plockton is also worth a visit and not far away from Skye, check out video on Plockton to see what’s on offer there. Enjoy your trip, you’ll love it!

Hi Joen, thanks for the lovely comment. We actually only do the videos in our spare weekends and holidays. We both have full time jobs, but hope that one day we can do it full time 😊 glad you are enjoying the series.

In late June in that part of Scotland it's never completely dark. Further north it's even more pronounced. My friends in Wick have blackout curtains for the summer, because it's still light at midnight. The only frustration we found was that sunset takes forever. Great video, excellent quality. I've taken Americans to Skye and they found the single track roads quite a trial, even as a passenger, and they would not drive. LOL!

Thank you for another wonderful view of my homeland. Well done for your climb to The Old MAN. Did they tell you what we call that upright lunp of rock. Enough to make you blush ! I look forward to the next series as I am proud of the North of Skye. Mackinnon country.!

Hi, i really enjoyed this episode having been on Skye back in August, it brought back some wonderful memories. The walk you did around the Quiraing looked amazing but we somehow missed that walk so will have to go back again now. We did the fairy pools but walked across from Sligachan, a very rewarding walk with numerous waterfalls on the way up. Thanks again for the video and can't wait for the next one.

Hello Andy, thanks for the lovely comment, glad you had a great trip to Skye. The Quiraing was spectacular, even though you missed it you have a reason to go back again. Not that you needed a reason! 😄

Breath-taking episode! We have visited the Isle of Sky 3 years ago. Unfortunately hiking up the cliffs is far behind us so thank you for sharing those fantastic views from above. The quality of your filming is of the highest degree as usual. I felt as if I was standing on a top of the mountain.

Hello Ludmila, thank you for your kind words, it is great to hear you like our style of video and enjoyed walking up the mountain with us. I wish I could have watched rather than walked it! Hard going but worth it in the end. 😄
