Another great video, thank you for taking us along on your journey. Don’t be so hard on yourself - I’m sure there’d being only about 5% of the worlds population that would voluntarily spend multiple days walking for the fun of it , then add rain wind etc, and then wild camping ❤. Love your sense of adventure and appreciation of nature and everything around you. Thank you for letting us see the sights that we may not be able to experience in person

A fantastic production Abbie thanks for posting it. I been to Arran a few times over the years and never tire of it. One of my first visits was in the 90s. Once when descending Goat Fell i slipped on a wet slab of rock and hurt my left wrist. When I reached the car park there was a lady and her young daughter there having problems starting her car. I offered to help and repaired a broken wire using only my right hand. Driving my car was worse with a gear stick on my left I had to use my right hand for gear changing. It was an interesting drive via the ferry back to Newcastle. 0:14 0:14

Oh my, there were some bloopers in this one! the trekking poles in the stream, the goop on the trig point. Thank you for a laugh! Loved the film, and I don't think trading a campsite for a wild camp is cheating in any way at all. It's not really being as rugged as possible; it's making the most of the journey, which you always do. Looking forward to the next one!

Another amazing video Abbie. I did this about 6 months before you and this brought back memories. I had a LOT more rain than you did, but stayed in Brodick and bussed to the start and finish each day, which worked brilliantly. Such a shame you missed Machrie Moor Stone Circles. Make sure you visit if you're in that area again. One of the best stone circles you'll go to- there are standing stones everywhere you look. Loved your point about the golf course and danger! Also, yeah some walkers will be put off by the amount of road walking, but don't be, none of it is unpleasant.

I did some of this a few years ago and some parts were a nightmare...ie...no path at all just rocky beaches and we had to bail and head up the steep slope up to the road...The coastal path has not been done properly...it comes n goes all the time especially at Dippen Head area...its just huge rocks...actually quite dodgy to walk through. I didn't see many Arran Coastal path signs either...disappointing as the scenery is amazing.

I agree that we all evolved in nature, and were (and are still) dependant on it. Men have been the ones at war with nature. You don't see very many women hunting things to extinction, or cutting down trees til there are no more. Men are waking up, but hopefully it's not too late.
