Holy Wighty Batman - this is superb quality!! Starts off in Yarmouth - then to Shanklin Old Village - never seen The Crab Inn so busy! Mews beers in those days - no crappy Greene King. The great Sir Harry's Bar at 1:10. 1:37 - great close up of the old Pier at Shanklin which blew down in the storm of 1987. Showing the same hoarding as I saw in 1968 - 'IT'S FINE ON THE PIER'. Then to Bonchurch - no sing of the pond. Looks like a departure from Yarmouth again. Sealink were privatised in 1984 and in 1990 this ferry - MV Cenwulf - passed to Wightlink. It was later withdrawn from service and scrapped in 2010.

Great vid. I went there in 1984 and many times since. Much has changed but fortunately, most of the island remains unspoilt (in fact, untouched).
