The day before I set off for a planned day trip to the Isle of Wight, I heard about a new road race called the Diamond Races, (now renamed Isle of Wight Road Races) and its route located on the south side of the island. It'll be rude not to see what the proposed route is like.
I anticipate the Isle of Wight Road Races route by riders would take around eight minutes. What would that look like? Well, here's my take of simulated speeds around the 12.4 mile course.

Military road gets a bit bumpy at 115 on a Breakout IOW roads are great especially brading and ashey down.

It's much better now than it used to be. When I started riding, much of it was still concrete.
