Her voice seems even better now, like that’s even possible. Back in the 80’s I played the 2 Yaz (Yazoo) albums constantly. They were magic that transported me to another realm. But I couldn’t tell if Alison Moyet was black, white, man, woman, etc. Her voice went beyond all descriptions. I never heard Yaz on the radio so I’m so grateful those 2 cassettes were a part of my life. After I got the internet I found out what Alison looked like. Now I’m learning about her life & hearing her in interviews. She’s an amazing person. And better than ever!
