Still and "Always" will be the #1 guitar riffs in the history of soul and R&B history. The closest I have ever heard that comes close to duplicating it was in gospel music on a live 1998 video of "Grace and Mercy" by Marvin Sapp's guitarist Ramond Bady kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5nSZ2x3q9CKj68

The Isleys of the 1970's were a masterful combination of the young trio of Chris Jasper and Ernie and Marvin Isley, joining the older Isley Brothers, O'Kelly (Jr.), Rudolph, and Ronald. The younger three infusing the veteran three with some serious funk to go with the traditional Isl;ey soulful ballads. Thus, "3+3", one of the best albums ever produced came about in 1973.
