Great tutorial. Having the chords displayed next to you while you play would be a bit of work, but extremely helpful for the less experienced. Loved the take you had for switching up for more jazzy tunes

I recommend that u watch Paul David’s music theory lessons. Their on KZbin and he teaches you how chords are made. I also recommend that u learn the first shape of the natural major scale by looking it up on google in addition to how Paul tells u to learn. That helped me a lot. Cheers

Ideal gig song to put on repertoire. Thanks a stack. So much fun to have with this song. I used to be in a wedding band and you just brought back memories. I'm going to do it for my grandson. Isn't the first chord in the verse C#m7? I heard you say Cm7. Probably unconsciously said it.

Great lesson! I just subscribed! I heard this song on the radio on the way home today and went, "Hey! That solo would sound great on guitar!" Your lesson is the first I found and watched. I quickly picked out the song on the piano with your guidance, so now I can play around with it on the guitar. I liked that you laid out the chords and then presented some different fingerings for them. I'll go back through them slower later. Cheers!

Well, you don't NEED to, but if you WANT to sound out the chords your playing over, that's how you do it. As always, this is personal taste and you should do whatever YOU think sounds the best for that tune :)

As others have mentioned, this would be great with the chord charts -- specifically since you're recommending a few variations of each chord. A player that has the knowledge to follow this video, is likely too skilled to need it. Even after looking up all the voicings its hard to follow.
