LOVE the Isntree Bifida ampoule and don't find it very oily. Don't get me wrong, it has a rich "slip" to it (that I personally seem to gravitate towards in serums), but then it both hydrates deep and settles without much stickiness. Then again, I live in cold Sweden so maybe that balances things up :) Great results too, the moisture barrier feels stronger and healthier in just a few weeks.

Hi Alice, an oily scalp person here as well, I've tried a lot of products both high end and drugstore and I'm telling you you need to try "Aveeno apple cider vinegar blend shampoo" it's the best clarifying yet gentle shampoo I've ever used to regulate oil production on my scalp especially if you're a low frequency hair washer, there's another corresponding conditioner as well that was ok nothing special but the shampoo is a game changer, I use it as my 1st cleanse I lather it between my hands then I work it out massaging my entire scalp focusing on covering all surface area, please try avoiding shampooing ur actual hair (the dead part aka hair shaft) and only focus on the scalp, I then follow with my regular shampoo (my fav is the pureology strength cure shampoo indigo bottle) again only focusing only on scalp, then I use conditioner (pureology as well), this technique made a huge difference for me, I highly recommend u give it a go believe me u won't be disappointed especially of you use leave on products for styling or heat protection or whatever, double shampooing with a gentle clarifying shampoo and then a normal shampoo makes a huge difference removing all build up that sometimes might cause oily scalp ☺️ I also forgot to mention u can use nizoral 1% or 2% whatever u can get ur Hands on and incorporate it in ur haircare routine in the same approach but only once a wk, nizoral is another game changer for oily scalp ppl.😊 All love from Sydney New South Wales Australia ❤️

Aloe is basically sold as an after-sun product in the UK, but be careful, it BURNS if I put it on irritated skin, however most people find it soothing. I've also seen it used after waxin. basically, like cica products. I do seem to be irritated by anything labled "sensitive skin" so you'll probably be fine though.
@AliceintheRabbitHole2 жыл бұрын
You know I’ve heard that before! Apparently aloe is yet another ingredient that can be amazing for some, and a disaster for others. I suppose it does make sense though as that seems to be every ingredient ever haha

I like to make my own facial mist using aloe. It's easy and it's soothing, especially if you refrigerate it. Take any empty mist bottle and fill with whatever water you like, then add in the aloe gel. I also add a few drops of the Inkey list collagen booster drops and it's just a nice refreshing spray plus is great for when using any HA products. Also nice to use before applying body moisturizers! I didn't know isntree had as many products as they do. I have the HA sunscreen in the stick form, and going to get the cream version next to try. I have the hyaluronic acid in the mist form, it's so nice to use, especially during summer or when your skin feels hot, sensitive., its perfect for my weird aversion to using products during the day.😵 But I didn't like the moist cream, I thought I would as the cosrx ceramide balancium cream is my all time favourite for night and thought it would be similar, but it left that waxy feeling on my skin. So I gave it to my mother, who did like it. I've realised I have a sensation issue with my products. They may be fantastic products but if I don't like the feeling they leave, then I just can't use them. I use multiple products at night and double moisturise at the last step, but day time I'm the opposite. Can't bare the feeling of anything. I think that's why I love the isntree stick sunscreen. 🌻🐙

You’re not alone!! It’s actually something I find limiting with the dry vs oily categories we typically group skincare into - I have come to believe that dry skin types can not like the heavy sensation, and oily skin types may enjoy it. (I admit: I owe Ara for this revelation as she has dry skin but hates feeling anything on her face!) I’m so glad to hear you like that sunscreen stick. I think it’s amazing as well, and i haven’t yet gotten a burn/tan while using it. @@AliceintheRabbitHole yes, another one of your great recommendations. I just make sure I go over the face many times and then tap it in and smooth it out. I Have normal ish skin, that leans dry. Hi Alice! This series was pretty much on time. I've been going through CosRx and loving it but have quite a few Isntree things in my Stylevana wishlist.. Didn't comment on the first video but yeah, I had to do a double take on innisfree. But OMG, girl, Aloe! I have a condition that causes me to get hot ears, sometimes my entire face gets hot too. Well, I've tried cold water splashing and ice, nothing compares to putting a glob of aloe on my burning hot ears. Even better if it was in the refridgerator. My mom got me into using aloe after a long day in the sun. I havent seen much for scar treatment but it works great for after sun care. I know ppl use aloe for hair styling but that doesn't work for my hair.

The isntree bifida ampoule ingredients list is impressive. But again its one of those that has an amazing list but it ends there. After finishing two full bottles, I can conclude that this ampoule doesn't seem to do anything for my skin that other hydrating serums can't do. Does not tighten, firm, give a skin a indescribable new healthy glow like the SKII, nada. Will not repurchase. Will try the Missha Time Revolution Essence Enriched version next to see if that one is back to what the original was famous for WITH amazing visible skin results, because the other versions afterwards were also horribly watered down. I'm a marketing director's dream...I love some matchy-matchy packaging on related use products...i.e. wash, tone, essence, serum and moisturizer.....but them I like my special products to be very unique... like oils and..That is just to buy........BUT obviously I rarely find a brand that I use all the products at the same time so there's that...Beauty of Joseon I can do easily...Donginbi when I rob a bank (no i don't) Sulwhasoo..

Lol I saw this vid posted after my sinus surgery and wanted to check it out so bad but my 🧠 was THROBBING! 😩 I couldn’t handle screen lighting or voices AT ALL! But it’s so good to be back and see your smiling face and cheerful voice without wanting to pull out my eyeballs. 🫣😂😂 I love how you point out how a lot of Korean products are actually cheaper than western. I was just having this discussion with my MIL but she’s just not quite there with me yet lol. I get that maybe she doesn’t trust ordering from Korean sites bc she’s all about Ulta. I’m going to get her there though lol. And I personally want to thank Korean skincare for calming the irritation from the adhesive of the medical tape on my face. 👌

You're telling me not everyone's mother slathered then with aloe after getting a sunburn as a kid? 😂 I thought that was a universal pale kid experience

I just bought the timeless 10% gonna try out the lower percent hopefully it will work out and I bought the PSA pansia serum sounded amazing and I saw it in Kelly's favs, did u see the girl went on vaca to Greece I'm so jelly that's amazing for her and by herself she is a tough chick vacation out of the country alone I would be so scared I can't even go eat my self or to the movies..lol let alone out of the country. * Update got my Botox taken care of by my girl that did it last time and did it amazing for a good price and I will never see anyone but her again she sat their and straight up looked at me took out pics from a year ago and she said he screwed u it looks like he put nothing in their and their is way to much movement if what is said on the chart is in their. she redid everything everything and only charged me 64$ she is an angel she said he did a bad job wasn't even and barely anything in their for what he says he gave me. She made it right and hooked it up ,I'm so greatful for her she talked to management and only charged me for a less then half and got me an extra 20$ off that with some point thing threw the Botox company. She has been in Europe so it was hard to get an apt with her but I will wait and I got her cell so I will not be dealing with that Dr I trusted anymore.

It makes SUCH a difference to find a good doctor!! Lol omg this is like my last reply - we have not only inflation, but also - what the heck is with appointments taking so long?? I had one in Nola for the little skin tag I have on my nose. Moved away and cancelled it, and I can’t get an appt here for months. I just want to get rid of that lil bump lol!!

The emotional high that I am getting from your Isntree reviews is no joke 😍😍😍😆💜 P.s. I have been feeling disappointed with the Cosrx products not working for me (except for the snail mucin essence) and all that money getting blown off 🥲 I was skeptical about getting any Isntree products given their pricing but I am now starting to see that they seem to be a good long term investment for my skin and getting one or two Isntree products is a better option than blowing off money on brands that might be a Hit or Miss 😅 although I am aware that skincare is subjective. By the way do you think Innisfree would looking into? Or would you consider a review of that brand as well as It's Skin? 😊

Isntree > Cosrx for me too. It’s so funny; I expected to ADORE cosrx. But tbh, I have really only stuck with a small handful of their products? (I do like the propolis line and of course the snail!)

Oh and I did try some Innisfree several years ago. Tbh it was underwhelming (at least the green tea line!)
