It is as crazy good as you describe it. Was the first synthetic I used and just adding it to a mixture of rose and jasmin is mind blowing.

Dior Fahrenheit contains 25% Iso e Super. And Terre D'Hernes contains 55% Iso e Super. Perles De Lalique 80%. High end perfumers use this alot I noticed. I mean 80% is almost the whole perfume. Crazy.

How do they circumvent IFRA, I wonder? I thought if a distribution goes global, we are all bound by IFRA's regulations. Very strange.

@@brian95240 even Molecule 1 which is 100% Iso E Super scent is still like 80% perfume alcohol. It's not a bottle filled with pure ingredients. The total percentage guidelines includes dilutants added.

Sometimes, my dear friend, I feel like it smells very soft, soft ground with a few flowers. Like the smell of vetiver, I think the kind I bought was fake and I was tricked because I never found it smelling wooden like sandalwood. 😢

Iso e super does not smell of flowers or soft soil. But it also is not trying to replicate Sandalwood or vetiver. It should smell like very transparent or clear Amber. Only purchase your perfume materials from reputable sources. Dave

I would probably get Hedione and Heliotropium along with Iso-E Super! Initio Perfumes Prive is onto something with their purple bottles. I haven't yet smelt them, but I can kind of tell their direction, with their chemical choices, and sweet, Almond and gourmands LOL. They aren't playing fair.

I'm confused. So Iso E Super can't be more than 21% of just the perfume oil, or it can't be more than 21% of an EDT's total volume, all things included (e.g., alcohol, water, etc.)?

Thank you so much! I'm grateful for your expertise! I know that there are percentages allowed regarding certain Aroma chemicals within the total blend, however, should you use aroma chemicals pre diluted, say to 20% the same way you do with essential oils? Or do you use things like Iso E and Hedione neat, so long as the percentage within the total is compliant? I know that some aroma chemicals such as Ambroxan or vanillin are usually diluted down to 10 percent or less. Thank you again.

ISO E Super and Hedione are supposed to be used neat. The permitted amount is for an undiluted compound.

How much do you mix this with fragrance oil in a 2oz bottle along with Mr. Ben’s Diluent?

I am not familiar with Mr. Ben's Diluent. I do not use fragrance oils so I am not sure how much. Iso E Super can be used up to 21% in your final product. I hope this helps! Thank you for being here! Dave
