They are selling a lot of gold and training for cheap (or cheap to them) on some specials. Makes me believe the level cap will use something else. They love to offer deals on stuff then surprise. For instance, you are seeing a lot of deals for Man Thing for purchase. But he will probably be the third Groot giveaway of 300 shards. Giving a lot of Illuminati out and putting them on the 100 level up but Jean Grey is the counter so they will become weaker.

They have a retention problem. You have a limited amount of actions you can take in a day and most of them are monotonous chores. They need a game mode that we can play whenever we want that’s actually fun and has fulfilling rewards. Monthly Tower!

Event milestone rewards barely give 100 training mats which isn't even enough to level up a gear tier from G14 or something. Then they go ahead and give out 310 sentinel shards and make orchis the battle pass right before they become farmable. I bought the sentinel strike pass before as I'm sure many others did as well. Which means most people will have (nearly) maxed him out like me. The lesson? Don't buy any passes. Even without this free gift he is entering the spotlight orb which many of us have more than enough to max him out. Either they are actively pushing older players away, or are just too dumb to realize this

Why do we get no heals for pocket dimension. Also why does hank pym passive just not work on pocket dimension and dark dimension? No trauma no passives blocking healing just doesn't work

That's not his passive. It's Hanks ult that applies trauma, and that's only in Crucible

Because they were so stingy with the intial release, the vast majority of F2P don't have him maxed. 310 shards took me to 6 stars and 29 into the 7th. Their new release method is shit, intentionally, to try and milk $$ from the playerbase.

I got the battle pass, I have nimrod and omega 6r, and this will put me close to 7r. Sentinel is a waste for sure, and they severely cut down the resources which sucks, but I'm a 9 month old player trying to finish up Odin and every resource helps so I'm unfortunately stuck buying passes until I feel caught up.

I've been diddling around after being gone for 2-3 years and may make a video about this. Regardless, the game would be great without the pay-to-win mechanisms in place. That aside, goofing around, I'm now at level 87. The cap is at 100 and going to 105? Insane. They could drop 100M gold on my account right now, and I still couldn't raise all acquired characters to 87, let alone gear them up or anything.

You’re not optimistic? This is actually the most optimistic I have been about the game in the past 7 months. I will say, even though the game may not be in maintenance mode, I am in maintenance mode (both my money and level of concern). The devs won’t be able to really start fixing things a for a couple of months. I’m not going to sweat this game during this time. I accept the game is at a very low point, and it will be at a low for good while longer. I will play as much as I am having fun, then I will spend my time and money other places having fun, while the devs take time to get things back on track. And it will take time. This isn’t going to be fixed any time soon. But I like a lot of what the devs are trying. As bad as frozen dimension was, I give credit (1) for finally having a pocket dimension that is actually like a mini dark dimension and (2) they actually stuck with it, despite all the criticism. The preloaded turn meter is fixable. Having cupcake auto fest content and a dev team that kept caving under criticism were much bigger problems and much more of reasons for pessimism imo.

Hot take, Grootmas is a terrible event. I hardly have time to hop on right now sim a couple battles and have to do it for 4/7 days. Most games just give you the free stuff so long as you log in within the week. Terrible event for some people.

We haven’t had iso energy or incursion energy spending events probably because ppl complained there was nothing on those nodes worth spending energy on. The only ppl that want iso spending energy events are probably ppl who have loads hoarded, ppl who have spent all their regular campaign energy hoards. and maybe newer players. Not many other ppl want to waste cores on iso or incursion energy events. To put it another way, thank you Scopely for listening. Between this and the lack of blitz events, they have done a better job of designing events, except for the spec ops ones.
