As a raid-focused player, I’ll be coring for both Jean & Hercules (also for DD8) and this will be last bit of my core. Unless I got lucky, I’ll have to recoup for a long time after this.

My main issue with Jean Grey is that her telekinesis is represented in blue... was it blue in the tv show? It's always pink in the comics.

I‘ve only got around 10k cores right now so hopefully I‘m a bit lucky on either her orbs or Hercules‘ orbs to unlock them both. I‘ll keep saving my cores after unlocking her, I‘m not sure how many we get per day though

TBH there are many things to complain about in game but this is not one of them. There is enough difference between different versions of a character and it is not a whole lot of them. X is coming. You don’t want them to rush it like they did Battleworld.

The question for me is if I can only core for one character, should it be Jean Grey or Hercules? We need both for the raid, right? One of these characters might get a release event. I'll probably wait to core for either one until I know more about Hercules and Scopely's release plans.

@doriangray6985 in what way do you mean? If we need both to be able to do those nodes in the raid, then whether I core or not for Jean Grey means nothing until Hercules is released. Strictly speaking for the Spotlight raid.

@MichaelFry-lz3bk if your alliance is end game about to do Spotlight 2, then core. Otherwise wait for her release event

@@doriangray6985 my point is that her orb won't go away for a while. And we can't complete the raid nodes without Hercules. So there is no rush to core her until Hercules is released. Maybe by then we'll know more about Scopely's FTP release methods. As I began with, if I can't core both, then I need to know which will be the one who will get the earlier FTP release. These things aren't as simple to predict as they used to be.

I’d say depends on your alliance. If they’re gonna want to do the prologue day 1 you need 4 so you would core Jean

I have been hoarding very strong everything for this team because I will take them to 100-19 t3-3 immediately to use them on global hero of dd8. After that I am very close to getting Odin as well. I wanna be able to sim this raid as soon as possible. Hope they are strong. Although i am a bit worried how strong should we make our Alpha Flights a bit. We’ll see I guess.

I do 1 at a time until I unlock. I go for full unlocks though not partials.

What’s an AOE and why is that good for a raider ?

AOE stands for Area of Effect attacks. As opposed to regular attacks that only hit the designated target, AOE attacks can hit multiple characters at once some can hit the entire enemy team. Hitting multiple enemy characters with vulnerable allows other ally characters to do follow up attacks to targets with vulnerable as opposed to a single attack.

Jean is my favorite Marvel character ever and has been since I was a wee lad of 6 or so. I’ve been saving my cores for her and I can’t wait to pull and unlock her. Her stats sound a little disappointing but hopefully her utility and team synergy makes up for it

Storm, Beast, NC, Sunspot & Forge walked through hero global in DD8 for me. Storm ult is a literal hurricane

I brought her up 2 weeks before the rework. She is _phenomenal_ in DD. It's just a matter of building up her charges and knowing when to drop her Ultimate. Her basic isn't anything to sneeze at either.

My game won't let me update my WAR team for the last month. I've emailed Scoply and no response at all! I've updated my roster and can't even put my new players in WAR. When I load it, it won't load over 99% It just keeps spinning and spinning and spinning etc... PLEASE HELP😵‍💫

Can someone give me some advice? I’m level 75 and I’m basically hard stuck. I don’t even have enough training materials to get Peter b from 70-75 and I don’t have anyone built for the cosmic section of the quest to get ultimus. But I could REALLY use the gold I get from those quests. So, do I ignore it, and if so, how do I get more training materials? Because right now, the only characters I have at 75 are x treme x men, Ghost Spider and Pavitr.

You can farm them (Training Materials) on Nexus (Hard) 5-9/3-9/1-9, Villains (Hard) 7-6/6-6/4-6. That's basically what I use my Campaign Energy for (except lately I've also been using it to play catch-up on the older characters they're reworking since 5 of the toons this round... Beast/Storm/Polaris/Vision/Cable... are node farmable).
