Hi Steffen: I began researching isochronic and binaural beats this morning as I want to include them on a project Im working on in ableton. I was happily surprised when sonic Sourcery showed up as the first KZbin place to begin looking. I thought I would have a challenge finding anything out. Hey man Thanks for the useful Video! Is it also possible to combine it with Binaural frequencies or does it only works well when it is only an isochronic tone ? or maybe having the first section of a longer session in binaural and then going into iso ?

good question! yes it is possible, keep in mind that people need headphones in order to perceive the binaural beats, Isochronic tones also have an effect when listened to on speakers.

Love this... what is the source for the Deep Peace pad, as well as the other pads? I'm curious if the isochronic tone needs to be as high as it is or could it be pulled down a bit. I find it more than a bit distracting at the current level.

thank you ! The pads are part of my ableton template called "Deep Shamanic Sound Journeys" which you can get an my website: harmonic-resonance.com/collections/loop-and-samplepacks and sure you can lower the volume of the isochronic tone to your liking, its different for everyone

okay so 100hz, but why 8hz? i mean, what's the relationship between these frequencies. you take 100hz and then 1hz for the autopan. it's really hard to figure out what the gapping speed is supposed to be. so is this a case of you could just put in say 528hz and have a 4.50hz or 8hz? like, are there articles out there that describe the gapping speed and why specific ones are used?

hello, thanks for your question. the autopan does the pulsing which creates a brainwave entrainment. So 8 Hz for example will entrain the brain into a theta state which is a state of deep relaxtion. You can watch my video about Binaural Beats if you like there I go a lot deeper into Brain Wave Entrainment and the different Frequencies. the gapping speed is selected based on the Frequency you would like the Brain of the Listener to be entrained into. And instead of using arbitrary frequencies (if sth like this even exists ;) you can use frequencies that people believe to have a possitive effect like a 528 Hz tone for example that you will then pulse with the Autopan setting a value that relates to the Brain Wave Frequency you would like to achieve. Does this make any sense? Is is a bit clearer now?
