Thanks for this Good explanation could you please explain how we select the phase shift and leakage inductance and also how we can design high frequency transformer for this converter

Thanks! Typically, this converter is only allowed to operate in cases where the phase shift is relatively low (less than 30 degrees) to minimize the amount of reactive power in the converter. So, after you decide on what maximum power you want to transfer, you can set phi equal to the maximum phase shift that you would like to allow, while setting P equal to the maximum power that you wish to transfer, and then you can calculate the leakage inductance for that case by rearranging the power equation that we derive in the video. As far as the transformer design is concerned, there is more than one answer, but most of the cases that I have seen have used transformers based on Litz wire and ferrite cores. I did some work on a DAB a few years back, but unfortunately, I wasn't involved in the design process and was more focused on the control and testing.
