To be not confused for rubeola and rubella, I made this: Rubella is like a bell alarm that dropped so it is droplet and Rubeola is like saying “Olah” so you wave on the air so it is airborne 😂
This is great! 🙌 Thank you for sharing and everyone should give this comment a like to keep it up top!

If anyone is studying for the NCLEX, you can easily memorize the whole list by writing it down multiple times on a piece of paper. All the terms look daunting but if you write it down multiple times on a piece of paper you will start getting the hang of it. I just recently memorized All three contact precautions within an hour and a half. 😃
One of best videos. Very insightful and easily memorable. Thank you and I hope I could remember all this in the exams

do you wanna double check on conjucivits? we learned under PMH that it is airborne
@ezmed2 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the comment! Conjunctivitis is contact. Do you remember the context in which they were teaching airborne? Or maybe they were talking about herpes zoster ophthalmicus, at which point airborne may be appropriate if ruling out disseminated zoster.

I have been taught TB as a droplet imfection so won't it deserve droplet precaution? plz help me here, thanks
@ezmed2 жыл бұрын
TB is an airborne infection. Airborne infections live as tiny residue particles in the air, called droplet nuclei, which are smaller and travel further distances than your standard droplet infections that require droplet precautions. Therefore, TB requires airborne precautions. Hope that helps! 🙏🏻
