Awesome teaching Sarah!! I just started nursing school this week and the 1st lesson is on hand washing and infection..and all of these topics of airborne, droplet, and contact are included..it is a little mind blowing at first. However, I will use your notes and video to differentiate what precautions and PPE goes with disease...since the exams will be in NCLEX style-it will be easier to know which category the disease falls under.. As usual, you are right on time with your lessons!! I wish you had some tips on how and when to balance napping while in nursing school!! LOL!!
@RegisteredNurseRN7 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much :) Very awesome this video came out just in time! Yes, it is so mind blowing all the material you have to remember about precautions...mnemonics are awesome for simplifying it. I'm so happy you're now in nursing school! Yes, I would love to know the secret tips on balancing a nap life and school (I never got that part down haha). I still need tips on how to balance a nap life and a three year old. I'm afraid there isn't a solution for our problems though haha. Thank you for the comment. I always enjoy getting them from you. I hope the semester goes well!

I really HATE this topic and it seems so difficult for me to memorize. I just do not understand why I need to memorize all these diseases when I can at the hospital open the available resource and apply the PPE based on the book. what is the point of making us memorize them for the test and 2 weeks after the exam I will not remember it.
