#IsolationPubSession

So this is it. The final Isolation Pub Session has been finished ... mixed during lunch breaks at the Gigspanner Big Band rehearsals and in a stupidly hot Premier Inn room ... likely to take several hours to upload on mobile data!
When I first sent out a video of me playing session tunes for people to join in with during the first lockdown last March I had no idea if anyone would even join in ... there was no plan to create video collages at that point ... but people sent me their videos and I stuck them all together. It got bigger and bigger every week ... it went monthly from last September and altogether we've done over 30 of these sessions. I can't pretend that mixing it hasn't been a bit of a drain on my time ... but it has also been massively enjoyable listening to every bit of every tune you lot played for me and very rewarding seeing the tunes all coming together each time.
Thank you to everyone who's come on this journey with us, either by taking part, or by watching, everyone who has supported me by buying my books and making donations. With special mention to star of the earlier sessions, Eggnog, who sadly died in the winter and missed out on photobombing the latter ones!
I have one final thing to plug ... this Friday I am playing at Teignmouth Pavilions with the Gigspanner Big Band ... rehearsals have been going brilliantly ... and for those who can't make it in person the gig is being livestreamed in real time on KZbin ... it would be amazing if everyone could enjoy the gig with us! Friday night at 8pm
