In a isometric drawing, how do we determine the directions of the ellipses in representing cylindrical or circular shapes?

If the curve is on the top of the drawing, use Iso plane top. If it's to the right use iso plane right and if it's to the left use left use iso plane left.

@@mr.cargill thank you so much. Do you know what are the axes’ directions when the isoplane is set to left plane? Sorry for the questions.

@@itz_mafi2340 Sorry for the late reply, once you select left plane, the x axis is set to 30 degrees and the the y is set to 90.
