I’ve been binging your sets lately, and rarely am I this impressed by not just the mixing skill but selection too. Your tracks are always different yet very complimentary at the same time. Quite a feat. May I ask if you have any tips regarding organizing your music?

Rondo hope all is well. just placed my order for the condesa carmen SE.. I'm now trying to get a pedal do you recommend the Strymon Volante over the BOSS re-20? thoughts..??
@rondomixer2 ай бұрын
Condesa Carmen SE👍Congratulations! The sound quality is better with the Strymon Volante, but the Boss RE-20 is also good enough. If you use effects pedals for other purposes besides DJing, such as music production, I recommend the Strymon Volante.

Which one do you prefer more - DJR, Carmen or ISO? How it feels mixing on them? Which one has better summing?
@rondomixer2 ай бұрын
All of them are easy to mix among the many rotary mixers. In terms of better summing, I would say DJR. ISO 420 is like a precision sound. But my favorite sound quality is Carmen.

How do you feel about having the rotaries below the front panel? I think it's a bad design choice. Sounds notably hi--fi though.

Another great mix! How do the ARS mixers compare to this or the Condesa? Any opinion?
@rondomixer2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don't own the ARS, so this is my impression from past memory and youtube. I think ARS has the opposite character to Isonoe. Even compared to Condesa, it is more colored. it sounds warm and fat. Instead of that, The attack of the sound is shaved and rounded, and giving it a slightly heavy impression for dancing. The mixing feel is also quite different compared to the standard one, which might be difficult until you get used to it.
@victorkim65322 жыл бұрын
@@rondomixer "The attack of the sound is shaved and rounded, and giving it a slightly heavy impression for dancing" You mean Isonoe (compared to ARS)?
@rondomixer2 жыл бұрын
I think ARS has a more rounded sound. Isonoe has a very sharp attack. Please do not compare the sound of Isonoe in this video. The original sound is rounded because lo-fi house is selected in this video.

How do you this mixer!? Looking as this and the Resor 2533 FX. Great mix as always!
@rondomixer2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Isonoe mixer has a high resolution and is the most transparent and cleanest sounding rotary mixer I have ever used. It's hard to tell from the sound in this video, but it's a very solid sound. It is not for those who like a soft sound. This mixer might be more suited for jazz, classical, or 60s-70s music.

@@rondomixer what is your favorite rotary for techno?
@rondomixer2 жыл бұрын
In terms of tone quality, I like MasterSounds for techno. It’s suited for techno. However, need be careful with MS because it changes to a unique groove. Actually, I think A&H Xone92 or 96 is better for techno. For minimal house / minimal techno, a rotary mixer is a good option. If it's techno with melodic or trancey elements, Isonoe is good, though. Because the synth phrases fill the high frequencies like velvet.
