When I connect the charger only the left speaker plays is the io board bad? As soon as I disconnect the charger the both speakers start playing. The unit charges up with no problem.

Question!! ordered and replaced Aux Input Board 303293-001 / 313451-002, and when wanting to use unit, I have to lower or raise the volume to have unit power and charge and play iphone. iPHONE does not charge after not using sounddock portable. so to be clear iphone left on docking board does not charge after leaving on there several hours of non use. i must touch volume control to get charge on phone and to hear any sound. what do you recommend?

If the dock has power and plays music , to get power to the docked apple device, the ipod dock connection has to be good. By far the most likely cause of your problem is a damaged docking connector in the front notthe PIO board,

Hi Kim, replacing the board with the faulty AUX socket would fix this issue with the SoundDock Portable

Hi. I had thought that the battery for my SoundDock went bad and wouldn't charge so I bought a replacement battery. So I connected the new battery and everything seemed good. Unfortunately the unit ran on the battery until the new battery went dead. The SoundDock works fine when plugged into power but I guess it's not charging the battery, any thoughts? Hi guys I just replaced Bose Sound Dock Portable Power / Aux Input Board 303293-001 / 313451-002 which i just received from you, followed your instructions to the letter, but for some reason when i connect the power cable it won't work with the battery connected, as soon as i disconnect the battery i get power and everything works ok, Battery was fine, it was just the audio jack that was broken. Any ideas why the battery should just stop working?

Hello. The best best is to contact the guys at the invebo support team. Details on your order acknowledgement. The most likely cause of problems is the white ribbon cable not being plugged fully home. If you still have trouble with installation then call invebo and speak to an engineer. Number on website. I'm baffled still. Mine thinks it's charging despite power cable not being connected. The unit gives the charging beep sounds as if i'm connecting and disconnecting the power cable, the sounds are intermittent. The battery charges still, and i've rebuilt the unit twice now.

That is a common fault on the PIO board
