To be honest, Izzy is beginning to regain his discipline for fighting in the center of the cage. He's more willing to accept damage to keep the center, as this is where he's most effective, evident in his fight vs Dricus. I think he's found his new path. Whether he makes it back to the title is unknown. But i love that he's being aggressive again. This is what people mean when they say "Contender" Izzy.

It's weird how many people seem to think that 'champion' is something you can lose, rather than an achievement that you accomplish that remains with you forever. The only thing you can lose is the prefix "reigning". Who *is* Izzy fighting though? Sure didn't seem like he felt that Shara Bullet deserves that fight, although to be honest, it sounds like it'd be a good fight and right up Izzy's alley, since he's pretty much a pure striker. The fight I'd *like* to see is Izzy running it back with Strickland, because Izzy did *not* look like Izzy in that fight at all, but I doubt Strickland will take that fight again unless he absolutely has to (probably because he knows that wasn't peak Izzy and he got *real* lucky). Only other fights I could see really would be Chimaev (bad matchup) and Borralho (better matchup). Which probably means he's gonna be taking on Fluffy.
