I know I am late for this post.. but I don’t see many people talking about this. Dancing helps you with movement on your feet/body and coordination, and of course the things that you just mentioned. Sugar Ray Robinson, Saenchai, lomachenko, were also great dancers. I believe that dancing can take your fighting skills to a different level.

Although I've been training mostly in Muay Thai and BJJ lately, I always come back to Capoeira. The training improves your overall athleticism, including rhythm, footwork, and timing. And along the way, you pick up techniques you can add to your arsenal. I may never reach Izzy's skill level. But I can be the best martial artist I can be.

in fighting you can press on the gas or not , you have breaks to sit, its not always going 100% ...dancing is alot of continuous movement and work, i guess good dancers can choose not to go 100% all the time too, but like running will get you out of breath, any yet everyone in the world can run ...its easy...but i do get your point regardless about dancing, dancing does take a lot of work and effort
