@@kimiorahenry179 Look, I barely know who's the Ariel guy. I don't watch this trough media, competition or other "sports stuff". I'm interested in technique and nothing else. Have to appreciate the guy's work, but this is very basic level knowledge presented here. If you ever had a chance to wrestle on a mat you'll be able to see the difference of a real coaching stuff and the analysis up here.

Adrian K You obviously don't watch guys like Dan Hardy breakdown fights. Many other channels you need to subscribe to obviously but Luke is new at this and did make a good video. Fighters can breakdown a video better than anyone especially if they speak well like DC, Hardy, Dom Cruz and so on. All of these guys along with a few coaches can breakdown a fight or move better than anyone! Coach at Tri-Star does an excellent job breaking down fights. Tons of MMA minds out there who definitely have a lot more knowledge than Luke on technique. But I'm proud of Luke cause he is a journalist and did great being that he has never fought professionally or ever if I had to guess. But there are many other channels that will give you great detail and real coaching on technique if you expand your subscriber list on here. Dan Hardy is one of my favorite guys to see breakdown a fight, super high fighter IQ. But there are so many other guys out there who fought,fight, or coach who have forgotten more knowledge about fighting than Luke could ever learn I'm guessing. Not to 💩 on Luke cause he is a great journalist and works hard covering the sport. Luke probably does have a wealth of knowledge on the sport but there are experts making videos everyday. Luke is far from being an expert on technique!

Damn, these are some of the best breakdowns I have ever seen. I love BJJ, don't get me wrong. But a lot of the channels don't delve on the MMA-wrestling scrambles like this. This guy needs to work for a big network so they actually have more people who can break it down like this. Hearing the likes of Stephen A, Skip, or Cowherd try and talk about MMA is just painful.

I think this would work great against khabib. Khabib does his best work against the cage, making the opponent move via strikes and taking them down using said opponents momentum against them, using trips, physically overpowering them, etc. A lot of adesanyas tricks wouldn't let khabib get the necessary inch he needs to take a mile. The immediate overhooks are very useful, as is his ability to stuff trips by wrapping his leg around his opponents tripping leg. (Note that this is not a comparison of khabib and Israel, just their techniques.)

Reminds me of Adesanya vs Vladimir Khaykin. Similar evolution of defense, in two rounds: two brief takedown drops, one judo _reversal,_ one completely stuffed. In about 7 minutes. Kid is brilliant on his feet.

Fam in the khabib fight when conor was cheating if herb breaks them then khabib loses his position. Loses his advatage. Maybe Herb can reset them in the same position but then conor gets time to rest etc. Not worth taking the away the dominant position from the guy winning

I think he's more of a threat to Rockhold than rockhold is to him. Unless rockhold establishes a really nice clinch against the fence and takes him down, which is a big IF, i don't think Luke has an easy fight. Jacaré isn't as fast as he used to be... maybe weidman (matchup wise) and Yoel. Look at how Whittaker defended against Jacaré and even Yoel though. I think in 6 months to a year we might have champ ready material in Israel.
