A lot of you don’t know Dave Blakamoto. Dave Blakamoto is the only fighter to ever complete the UFC. He won all divisions. Female Bantamweight included. He clocked the game. He then realised in order to allow others to progress in fighting, he decided to retire from the UFC 123-0. 123 TKOs and retired all of his belts. It is said he is the one who saw Izzy when he was younger and decided to teach him to become a fighter.

After seeing Strickland shit the bed last night; there's nobody left for Izzy. His feet never stop moving. Strickland may not even get be able to lay a glove on him. The way he outgunned Whitaker last time and how quickly he was able to establish the range; it's just hard for me to be convinced that something so significant has changed; that you will be able to go from getting knocked out twice and 6 minutes to finding out a way to win this thing. And I say this while also believing with all my heart; that Whitaker is one of the best representations of what a professional martial artist should be, and examples of what's a world champion athlete should resemble inside and outside of the cage. Problem is Israel adesanya is an upgraded version of that with a mindset that is second to none

He's a guy who fights with technique and strategy, but he's also willing to die in that cage. someone like Sean Strickland with subpar footwork, and throws arm punches plus the guy doesn't move his head anywhere but straight back. Israel adesanya will send him out of the cage in a stretcher . Strickland is dangerously slow. A guy like till would cut his lights out

I honestly never really thought anybody was going to beat Izzy in his comeuppance and previous title run. But, as we've seen more and more of Izzy and the fact he lost to Jan and to quote Rob "Losing his invincibility bubble" it does seem like if there was ever a chance he loses his title, it's in his next couple of fights against rematches with Whittaker or Brunson. Both have gotten way better at setting up either strikes or takedowns, and have overall gained massive amounts of experience since losing to Adesanya. They have truly evolved where i'm not exactly sure of Izzy has. I think he probably did after losing to Jan but we won't know until he steps in there with Whittaker and that's not exactly the best timing to find out. He does seem in a lot better shape as of late, and I'm sure after getting a loss through being taken down and held down he's worked heavily on his wrestling and physicality so this fight with Whittaker is more than likely going to be each guys best performance to date. I can't fucking wait.

I also liked the question at about 7:30, in reference to Whitaker's latest fights and how he tore up Gastellum. That's the same confidence that people had on Cyril Gane, going into his fight against Ngannou. People bet on him, even dana white, thinking that he was gonna rip Francis as he did Derrick Lewis. Francis didn't cuz he couldn't knock him out, but he beat him with wrestling. That's what great fighters do, they adjust during according to how the fight is going. That's what makes Izzy so special....that's how special was Floyd Mayweather. Just drop it, Rob cannot beat Izzy, he just ain't good enough. He should fight Costa or Marvin Vettori.
