Let's be real for God sake, Helwani is known for licking fights ass but for Izzy to say that it was only his legs is ridiculous. He wasn't protecting himself against the shots, he fell and got back up but still wasn't protecting himself and was getting hit real hard. I watched the replay many times and either adesanya is trying to sell the next fight or he's just lying. There is no way any sane person can watch that and come to the conclusion that he could have come back from that. Watching it live I kept saying 'double leg, take him down while he's in close range'. I think Izzy's pride didn't allow him to wrestle more but this is MMA so why not?

@@Team_Banchamek, this is simply Adesanya's PR team getting out in front of the issue of his getting beaten. They are doing their best to influence (if not) dictate the narrative. They are casting him off as being "humble", but I don't buy it. He is pulling on the heart-strings of those who don't see what they are doing. But in the end, his true colours will show again, leading up to the anticipated rematch. I know Ariel has to book the fighters he can get, but I am sort of disappointed that he didn't have the new Champ on, first. @@Xmgnomnoms not hating, to be successful combat sports you have to be free from ego, i try to like izzy, but he talks too much for too little action, and he isnt truthful to himself analyzing his own performance. like i said , not chanpion behavior, Alex, however , doesnt boast or brag, just says how it is. We all saw what happened, no need for excuses, izzy is just disrespectful, especially pre fight conference. He talked all that trash to Alex. Karmas a b*tch and izzy found out first hand 👊🏼

What better to explain this fight than Izzy saying "I was winning until I wasn't"

The more I find out about the details of the fight from Izzy, the nerve damage, the lucidity he had before the fight got stopped, the more pissed I get, but then Izzy's attitude keeps me calm. I'm confused, but satisfied. I kinda luv this dude.

There is no confusion. His recollection is the same every fighter says after stoppage. He was not defending himself and his hands were down to his side. That's not something he is pointing out because he knows it will prove his story of events to be false.

That stoppage was more than justified dude is looking at the floor arms by his side and he’s acting like he was fine. You were wobbly as all hell as well after it was stopped u were clearly out of it. Dude can’t just take a loss. Excuses at every corner.

I must admit I wasn’t the biggest fan of Izzy’s personality before this fight. I respected his fight style as he is an amazing fighter to watch but I thought he was a bit arrogant. After seeing how he took this loss in such a mature and humble way he has turned me into a fan. Much respect, I hope he gets to fight Alex in a rematch he really deserves it.

mature and humble? he's denied every aspect of the fight that didnt go well for him, listen to him talk and the fight sounds like 4 rounds of leon vs usman and 1 round of o'mally vs vera

Israel Adesanya you are an amazing human being bro. You are the best striker of all time. Luck has been on his side, that's been obvious from the first fight. That's the difference, that's all. You are clearly the best fighter. He's bigger and stronger. That's it.
