We hosted a young man from Jews for Jesus during the Behold Your God campaign. He told me that they were nervous about going to Jerusalem, which was in the future when we talked. I attended church at King of Kings in Jerusalem on a Sunday night (maybe you have too), and if you know the church it is below ground two floors in a 14 story building. There is no signage at all, even though they occupy basement level floors and one or two floors at the top. The sanctuary we were in was big enough to hold six or eight hundred people and was packed when we were there. But you had to know it was there, because they kept it very low profile. I'm just chiming in, basically on your remarks on how difficult it is to be a believe in Jesus if you are Jewish living in the land today.

Trust me, I am not looking for an argument! Just a Greek question: Can you point me to any place in the New Testament where οὕτως is temporal? I can't even find an English translation that renders it "then" in Rom. 11:26, although HCSB has "then" in a footnote.

In my mind, "thus" is a more wooden translation. It is technically logical rather than temporal.

@@kenschenck Fair enough. I'll give it some more thought. Maybe my problem is English. "Then" sounds temporal to me. "Thus", or "in this way" seems more appropriate for a logical connection.
