Israel dangerously exposed after Iranian drone and missile attacks

On April 17, 2024, as the world waited for Israel's military response to Iran's unprecedented drone and missile strikes, Dimitri Lascaris spoke with Lebanon-based, geopolitical analyst, Laith Marouf. Marouf argues that Israel is now dangerously exposed, particularly after Iran caused extensive damage to a key military installation near Israel's border with Lebanon. According to Marouf, Israel's military is hiding the damage it sustained in the Iranian attacks, and Hezbollah's forces have begun to exploit the vulnerabilities resulting from that damage.

They say 70 drones and 3 missiles taken out by us warship. Now UK france jordan and saudi helped. How many i dont know. But it looks like israel didnt do or couldnt do much without a lot of help. Also if it cost 1.3 billion, how many days could Israel afford to fight such a war?

300 missiles were launched. Isrsel says 99% were intercepted, which means only 1% hit. 1% of 300 is 3. In each video more than 3 missiles hit. It is impossible that they intercepted 99%.

What’s important is that the Israelis now know what they need to know. Also Erdogan is stuck in 1800’s , he is taking little pieces of land from Syria and Iraq. In contrast Iran is winning the hearts and minds of the people of Middle East. Basically Iran is up against a bunch of amateurs. 🇵🇸🇮🇷

One question that keeps coming to mind is the strike on the intelligence building; we are told that no one died in this Iranian attack. How is it that an intelligence building was destroyed but nobody died or was seriously injured in that strike? Is it possible that you can have an unmanned intelligence building? I doubt it very much even with the advancement of AI.

I concur with the assessment that if the ongoing conflict persists, it is regrettable to acknowledge the potential for the Islamic Republic to gain the upper hand unless Israel resorts to the utilization of nuclear weapons. Alternatively, it may be necessary for Israel to involve the United States in this war, deploying ground troops or mechanized units to engage in combat with various militant factions, including Hezbollah and other groups present in the region. Regrettably, relying solely on air defence measures will prove inadequate in countering the simultaneous onslaught of swarms of drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. The sheer magnitude of these threats has the potential to overwhelm the existing defence systems, as exemplified by the recent military retaliation by the Islamic Republic against Israel. Furthermore, I believe that Israel made an ill-advised decision to attack the embassy in Damascus directly. They could have pursued alternative methods, as they have historically done, without openly claiming responsibility. This incident has shed light on the fact that Israel's military prowess may not be as formidable as it has been portrayed throughout history. It is essential to acknowledge that the nature of warfare has evolved significantly over time, with advancements in technology and shifting political and religious ideologies in today's world. This presents a different landscape than previous conflicts, such as the Arab-Israeli war. Israel should carefully consider the ramifications of impulsive actions and unilateral decision-making, particularly when facing a militarily capable and potentially more potent adversary. Collaborative efforts and strategic alliances may be imperative for ensuring their safety and security in such circumstances.

G-d gave a portion of the Holy Land to the children of Ishmael. Based on Zohar Shemot 32A ------ [R. Hiyya then says] Woe is to the time that Ishmael was born into the world and was circumcised. What did G‑d do [to appease Ishmael]? He distanced the children of Ishmael from supernal cleaving and gave them [only] a portion below in the Holy Land on account of their circumcision. And in the future, the children of Ishmael are destined to rule over the Holy Land for a long time when it is empty from anything, like their circumcision which is empty and imperfect. And they will prevent the children of Israel from returning to their place until the reward for the merit of the children of Ishmael reaches completion. The children of Ishmael [i.e. the Arab nations] will cause great wars in the world and the children of Edom will gather against them and wage war against them, one on the sea, one on the dry land, and one near Jerusalem. And they [the children of Edom] will rule over them [the children of Ishmael], but the Holy Land will not be given over to the children of Edom. [The children of Edom is the Christian West, for Edom is Rome (see Num. 24:19, Rashi) and Rome signifies Greece-Rome and the Roman Catholic Church, the foundations of Western Civilization] -------------- It had already been prophesied in the Bible that the descendants of Ishmael/Arabs shall administer the Temple Mount/Jerusalem. Isaiah 60:7 "All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory." All the flocks of Kedar - On the word 'Kedar,' see the notes at Isaiah 21:16. The Kedarenians were a wandering tribe that frequently changed their residence, though it is probable they usually dwelt in the south part of Arabia Desert, or the north of Arabia Petraea. They are mentioned as dwelling in beautiful tents Sol 1:5 : 'I am black, but comely as the tents of Kedar,' see Psalm 120:5; compare Isaiah 21:16-17; Isaiah 42:11. The language here also means that that which constituted their principal wealth would come and enrich Jerusalem. The rams of Nebaioth - Nebaioth was also a son of Ishmael Genesis 25:13; 1 Chronicles 1:29, and was the father of the Nabatheans. They were a people of Arabia Petraea, and lived principally by plunder, trade, and the keeping of flocks. The country of Nabathea extended, it is supposed, from the Euphrates to the Red Sea, and embraced Petra, the capital of Arabia Deserts, and also Medaba. It is not possible, however, to fix the exact boundaries of the various tribes of Arabians. The general idea is, that their most valuable possessions would be devoted to God. Dome of the Rock is the Third Temple. There are some interpretations of the Bible that suggest that the construction of the Dome of the Rock is prophesied in the Book of Daniel. Specifically, some people believe that Daniel 12:11 is a prophecy about the building of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. "And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days." [Daniel 12:11] It is a heresy/unholy to think that Jews shall administer Temple Mount/Jerusalem as it had been clear in the Holy scripture that descendants of Ishmael/Arabs had been ordained by G-d to administer Jerusalem/Temple Mount. -----------

Wow. I am French and have lived in Quebec for 14 years now. In the 19080, I lived 5 years in England, where i was occasionally called a frog. It was faintly ridiculous and I could sense that some people meant it in a derogatory way. But honestly, I never felt myself the victim of racial discrimination for being called a "frog." There was no institutional discrimination against French folks in Britain, just some bonheaded idiots who, for whatever reason, intensely disliked French people. No-one has to like everyobdy and idiots will be idiots. I would never have dared equating the use of the word Frog with the use of the N-word. Simply because they relate to such different social realities that it would belittle and effectively amount to denial of the immeasurably higher levels of oppression white folks (of whatever European extraction) have visited and are still visiting on brown folks. When I got to Quebec and started getting acquainted with Quebec Nationalism, it was a shock to me to learn that one of their "foundational" books was titled "The White N****r of America," by which the author meant to refer to the second-class status of French settlers of Canada. Apparently no-one perceived the incredibly racist nature of that comparison and of that title. I could hardly believe it. But my biggest shock was realizing that, in 2010, many French Quebecers still saw nothing problematic in that title. Yes, French-speaking settlers in Quebec did suffer discrimination at the hands of the English-speaking ruling class, but nothing comparable to black Africans who had been violently kidnapped from their native lands to be turned into slaves in the American colonies, including by French-speaking settlers. The parallel with Zionists is controversial and interesting. The similarity can be seen in the victim identity. But there is one big difference, French-speaking settlers were never scapegoated, smeared and eventually exterminated by the English-speaking ruling class the way Jews were by German Nazis. Interestingly, and certainly not coincidentally, when the Quebec Nationalist Party briefly got into power in the early 2010s, they spent most of their political capital on a "Values charter" which mostly targetted muslim women and sought to forbid them from wearing hijab if in the employ of the government and in contact with the public. To call them frogs is at wort silly, but they do seem to croak excessively.

Dimitri, ask your French quebecer friend what he thinks about the racist and anti-Anglo laws that we have here in Quebec. Whoever says Quebec isn’t racist is just objectively wrong. I lived most of my time in canada in ontario, Toronto. There is a mix of people like any big city. Quebec is however quite unique and its got everything to do with their history and their strong desire to be a nation of their own (they call their premier the prime minister of Quebec!! No other province in canada does that). The reason these laws get put on the books is because there ARE a large amount of French Quebecers who are racist nationalists who want laws that keep out immigrants, non-French and non-Christians and non-native Canadian. It’s less prevalent in the cities like Montreal. But it’s not absent. And it’s extremely prevalent outside the cities, and that is who the politicians are appealing to in passing these laws. I completely agree with your guest based on my own personal experience.
