Israel has closed the Kerem Shalom crossing with Gaza after several rockets were fired by Hamas from an area nearby in southern Gaza, according to the Israeli Defence Forces.

Israel has thousands of Palestinian hostages, and has constantly had Palestinian hostages from long before Oct 7. It subjects them to 'Administrative Detention' a fancy name for holding people without charge, and therefore no access to a legal process through which they can gain their freedom. They hold them for upto 6 months and can simply keep renewing the detention, going on for years. What is that, other than holding people hostage? Where is the outcry for their release?
