Israel-Hamas war: Hundreds of bodies found in mass graves in Khan Younis

Reports are emerging from Gaza that hundreds of bodies have been found buried in a series of mass graves in Khan Younis.
More than 60 bodies were discovered today at newly located mass graves inside the courtyard of the city’s Nasser hospital.
Palestinian civil defence crews have said they have recovered 210 bodies, some of them women and children, inside the hospital complex since last Friday.

The contrast between living conditions is very stark and painful to see. The people of Gaza live in dirt and rubble, surrounded by bodies. The Israelis live in nice, clean high-rises. It makes me think of that episode of Star Trek the Original Series where one group was living in a city in the clouds and and the other group had to work down in the mines and not see the light of day, choking in the dust. It makes it hard for me to feel sorry for the Israelis, even the families of hostages. For one thing, I haven't seen any of them express any sadness for the tens of thousands who are still being killed right next door.

Gaza was not dirt and rubble before the war. It was a place like everywhere else, with some very rich people, some average income people and some poor people.
