Israel hopes coming response to Iran attack will end "exchange of blows"

On Tuesday, Yuli Edelstein, the Head of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee, stated that Israel will react to this attack and hopes that Iran will learn a lesson that attacking a sovereign country is not acceptable.
However, he made it clear that Israel is not interested in a full-scale war or revenge.
"I sincerely hope that they will understand that it's not in their interest to continue this kind of exchange of blows. We are not interested in a full-scale war," Edelstein said.
Iran launched a barrage of missiles and explosive drones in its first direct attack on Israeli territory on Saturday, in what it said was retaliation for the bombing of its embassy compound in Syria's capital on April 1.
