Thank you Mottel for your very clear & simple teaching. As a Gentile I'm no stranger to the Jewish roots of the church. But over the past 18 months I've developed some questions in my heart regarding the relationship between Israel & the church. Because so many preachers are trying to counteract replacement theology and antisemitism along with past treatment of the Jews specifically in Europe, there has been an excessive focus on Israel & the Jews. While dual covenant theology is more obviously heresy, there are other more subtle teachings that have made Gentiles feel insignificant to God and less loved than Israel. I encountered one Indian believer on social media who has almost lost his faith as a result. I always believed that Gentile believers were fellow citizens with Israeli believers in Christ and that there would be a specific season for Israel to reach her fullness (after all other nations reach their fullness). That promises will be fulfilled to Israel when Jesus returns to rule the nation's. But more and more teachings seem to be separating Israel and the church and bringing in Sectarianism. It's been incredibly confusing. Do you have any video teachings on Israel and the church?

Hello Kristy, Yes, what you have observed is true, and sad to see. There can be an over-emphasis on the Jewish roots that crowds out a healthy balance. For our entire ministry we have held up the idea that there are no 'second-class' believers. God's love for Jews and non-Jews is fully equal, and I believe that from the bottom of my 'kishkes', because the scripture teaches it. Good, sound Messianic Congregations teach this as well, and put it into practice, but in my wide experience, they are in the minority. Here is the link to an 11 minute video excerpt of my guest speaking at a good Messianic Congregation in Texas, reminding them that Good did not make a mistake when He created us, and Jews & Gentiles are equal in the body of Messiah! be well Sister, Mottel - kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5isfqSZntGhbc0

@@messengersmessianicjewisho1058 thank you! I did a search on my Sefaria app but it wasn’t pulling anything up because that particular section is only in Hebrew. Once I translated it I could see the reference.

Nation against Nation is what happens in the flesh( what we see) Kingdom against kingdom is spiritual battlefield between good and evil (what we don’t see Jews are known by and referred to “fig tree” When the fig tree is tender and puts out its leaves… (setting ready to produce fruit) That is the Jews finally recognizing Jesus the Son of God! ! That is the fruit!

What I find interesting is although the rapture (harpazo) has no earmarks or dates, however in contrast to Jesus' second coming at the end of the Tribulation, they will be able to count the days until Jesus returns. Because once they see Matthew 24:15 & Daniel 9:27 fulfilled, they'll know they will have 3.5-years left. Unless I'm missing something, they will be able to count it. The church can't do that. But Jews will be able to, if they know to look.
@debgreen86832 жыл бұрын
Excellent teaching. Why do so many Christians deny the rapture?
@messengersmessianicjewisho10582 жыл бұрын
Hello Deb, in regard to your question, what I hear from some is that they regard the rapture as "an easy way out", and feel we need to suffer persecution. It seems to me that idea originates in their own personality and thinking rather than in the text of the Bible. The overwhelming amount of evidence points to a Pre tribulation rapture of the believers. Thanks so much for watching the videos, Mottel

Nation against nation. The word that is used here is the Greek word ethnos. It means ethnicity against ethnicity. It seems to be speaking about genocide and race wars. We are seeing this in greater and greater terms today.

David and Solomon's reign was 80 yrs. The sovereignty of Israel after the victory of the Maccabees lasted 74 yrs. Israel will celebrate 75th yr independence on May this year. Israel never surpassed longer than a generation. Psalms says a generation is 70 to 80. Bennett confirmed that it is a dilemma of Israel. Maybe this time God will establish the messianic kingdom. If the fig tree is Israel, then we are that generation.

Actually, first Palestinians were the Philistines. It was the Roman Hadrian, who renamed the land Palestine after the revolt in order to mock the Jews because the Philistines were their ancient rival.
@messengersmessianicjewisho1058 Жыл бұрын
Hello Uriah, Re Hadrian, yes he choose to rename the land after the Greek origin sea-going Philistines both to mock the Jews after the failed revolt of 132 CE, and to attempt to once and for all time sever the connection between the Jewish People and the Jewish Land. One point of clarification, modern Arab 'Palestinians' are of course, made up of a variety of ethnic origins, the early Saudi invaders 650 CE, then Egyptians, then Ottoman Turks, Albanian Muslims, Libyians, Sudanese, etc, the last 3 groups coming during Turk and British rule for work opportunity. Be well, Mottel
