Thank you for bringing these things to light. I am deeply sorry for the sins of past Christians, I didn't know what Luther said until a few years ago and I am appalled at what he said. I am still Lutheran because of the other good things he said and did, but very ashamed of his antisemitism. I have always prayed for Jewish people, as well as others who may not yet believe in Yeshua, because I want to see all of them in heaven someday.

I'm a Messianic Gentile believer starving for such teaching and fellowship that is absent in NW MT.

Read Jesus the Pharisee by Rabbi Harvey Falk. Essential reading for Gentile believer. We keep the 7 Noahide laws ( from Mount Sinai for the ger toshav) reaffirmed at the 1st Council of Jerusalem, Acts 15. This is the yoke that is easy for us. This is how we are grafted in after baptism ( mikvah) as Messianic Hebrews. And observe Sabbath light for Noahides - do Havdalah.
@sigalsmadar4547 Жыл бұрын
@@Stardust475 Hmmmm, sounds like you're saying a gentile has to do these "laws" to be considered part of God's Kingdom. If we have to DO anything to be accepted, it's not Biblical salvation. It's all about Yeshua's sacrifice and our acceptance of that applied to our life. The "noahide" laws were invented by rabbis AFTER Yeshua. The Jerusalem Council was about how Jews and gentiles could have table fellowship. The Traditions of Men prohibited Jews from fellowshipping with gentiles. The Council was NOT about what "laws" gentiles had to obey to become part of God's Family. There is no commandment to light candles for Shabbat not celebrate Havdalah....These are traditions. Nothing bad about them, but one should never feel obligated to follow them or guilty for not doing them.

Yup. I am a Messianic gentile who does the whole Shabbat, feasts, commandments as best I can because I want to do all I can for our Lord. Not for salvation. I figure I lived all my life doing what I want so now I have committed to the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob to do all I can for HIM. We are under the law of Christ. Love God, Love your neighbor as yourself. I DO study all the commandments of Yah from the WHOLE bible, and do them the best I can. Do I blow it, yep, and I have Yeshua who I call on for my forgiveness in any area I fall short. Paul taught the law. NOT against it. That's a lie by the church. So we should follow their example. We are under grace but we keep the law the best we can. That is not wrong. I can show verses where the new believers were zealous for the law. In a good way, not a bad one.

It's true. If you don't get a grip upon Jesus Jewishness and His deep love of the Jews, and how deeply orthodox and judaically NORMAL most of what He said to them was for them. He didn't come to smash the Law but to amplify it and that not one stroke of a pen should be missed in following the commandments. And that He can never and will never break His promises to them. Any anyone who curses them, curses God, n effect. We are to pray for the Jews. Jesus' people.

Yes, Judaism in a proper form, and from the heart is not wrong as a lot of Christians think it is. I have been highly blessed of God since I have found a balance. And people are wrong to say you have to be Jewish to be in Messianic Judaism. The gentiles were welcomed into the faith and the first believers were Jews who still held onto Judaism in a proper form. Shuu, hearing the topic on great omission, I was excited that finally one is likely to have some level of understanding of why those originally entrusted with the great commission haven't done much in that regard, to our detriment as the gentile believers. Instead, I heard more about history on antisemitism, which left me in a guilty state rather than clarified. Personally, I have been trying more to reach out to the Jewish community to learn more about the heritage of my faith but only suffered rejection. I follow the calendar reading of the Torah, but when one tries to reach out to understand some of the scriptures, it's taken as antisemitism instead. I just wonder how does one ever get to know and learn the truth when the ones entrusted with the great commission are unwilling to teach the truth and yet we are continually made to feel guilty for the history that most of us don't even understand 😰 I must say this left me more disheartened. As much as history is great, I am not sure if it is helping us to unite, grow together, or increase the chasm, and for some of us, leaving us more confused than assisted 😰

When you say that Judaism is the foundation of what is known as Christianity, are you talking about Biblical Judaism or Rabbinical Judaism? These are two very different things. Rabbinical Judaism is a man made religion that came into being due to the destruction of the Temple in 70ad and the dispersion after the BarKochba revolt around 130ad. I dont mean to seem confrontational. I am very careful when I learn things and like to be sure that I understand things in their proper order. Thank you.

There is a cultic vibe going on in this video. Also, The Apostles did not stay in Israel but went out to spread the Gospel to the nations. From that we get the Roman Catholic church and the Eastern Orthodox church. Did the Apostles get all that wrong or did the Gentiles change it after the Apostles died?

If only people interpret Bible the way it is the whole context of it all God loves us all so much, and if you see some filth in your “Christianity” purge it out, Jesus saw faults in Pharisees and their oral Torah and always rebuked them and turned them back to follow His Father, but neither did they accepted or recognized time of His visitation….

I agree with you in principle however as study and learn on this channel I now suspect millions of people never learned the two greatest commandments in the first place and as you say many who did "forgot them". There is not now nor ever has been a Christian church in America. My proof of that is how so called Christians have treated the Jews over the years. There are NO main stream denominations that express any shame or embarrassment over Luther's little hate speech rants. The Jews will always be God"s chosen ones and God will treat us the way we treat his chosen ones.

6:33 judaism is not the foundation of the teachings of jesus. the written word of god is. judaism is a corrupt religion just us christianity is. god has warned against adding and subtracting from his word. but many did not heed this warning. how many vile, unspeakable acts have been and continue to be committed in the name of god? how many have been and continue to be deceived by false teachings that of course lead to ungodly practices?
@franklatona70942 жыл бұрын
What your saying doesn't make any sense. You say Judaism is not the foundation of Jesus teaching. Yes it is. You mention the written word of God. During the Messiah's earthly ministry the only written word of God was the Hebrew Bible, the Tanaka which would go on to be the Christian old testament. Bottom line, the only Godly teaching during Jesus ministry was from the Jews.

It was essential that the Gentiles keep their identity in order that the Messiahship of Jesus be established, and to that end there is a consistency in Paul's teaching which separates Jews and Gentiles in their ethnic identities, but then unifies them together in Christ - "To the church of God...to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, the called saints.” There is no "Church" outside of those who have personal living faith in Christ, based on Paul - and therefore God, himself, if we believe that the Greek Bible is as inspired as the Hebrew? So to say "the Church" carried out the crusades is not correct. That was the Roman Catholic church - a church regarded as Apostate and the Whore of Babylon by many believers for many centuries. Many Christians indeed suffered alongside the Jews, in the Inquisitions, in particular. It is somewhat problematical to my mind to not distinguish between the persecutors and the persecuted. I would refer you, for some notable examples, to the sufferings of the Celtic church and the Lollards and the early Reformers in the British Isles, some of whom were burnt at the Stake, the St Bartholomew's massacre in France, the martyrs of of the Vaudois valleys and the Waldensians, the many religious wars and persecutions in Europe waged against Protestants and the sufferings of the Covenantors in Scotland and those who died at the hands of Anglican church also in Britain, as a result of which America introduced the idea of separation between the political and religious arms of the State. This is not to deny that there was a blindness on the part of the true Church as to the purposes of God concerning Israel, some of which was influenced by bad theology which had come from the absorption of catholic beliefs, (I place Luther and Calvin in that camp)- but I would ask you to please apply the same logic and balance that you apply to biblical statements regarding "the Synagogue of Satan" and those members of the Jewish community who were condemned by Jesus as hypocrites, and by Paul and Stephen as being complicit in the death of Jesus - to 'the Church" in that respect, so that a difference is made between the holy and the unholy. I believe you otherwise do a great disservice to the Church of Jesus Christ. I wonder if you will, in future videos, in brave enough to say the "Roman Catholic Church" carried out crusades, the Roman Catholic Church carried out the Inquisition, and finally to refer to the lapsed Roman Catholic, Hitler, in the context of his own belief system- and who was certainly not a Christian or part of the Church of Jesus Christ, according to the words of the Bible itself? (Naomi Shubert)

Not a lot of people know that the Hebrew meanings translated into biblical Greek terms as "gentile" is "Goy" (plural Goyim) ACTUALLY MEANS "nations". For example the Hebrew Testament ("old" testament) tells us that through Abraham the "nations" (Goyyim) would be blessed. Interestingly "Goy" came to mean non-Jews. Hence the background behind the use of the Greek "gentile". What is also interesting is that the Jerusalem Council came to remember Abraham and that the Goy would be blessed through Abraham via Yeshua. Yeshua who said PLAINLY that He was The Door, and The Way there, and through and beyond. The way into this new vein of Judaism. The Lion (Judah) SHALL lay with The Lamb!
@deejannemeiurffnicht1791 Жыл бұрын
On top of which, John's Revelation uses the Hebrew Tabernacle as it's template for the coming Age. The original Hebrews weren't what we, in our modern sense, call "Jews" as Christians. They were THE HEBREWS. The term Judaism came into being as it gained converts from many backgrounds and cultures as many were not now genetic Hebrews as such. It shows a high degree of Grace. So, then, people who followed the ways of the Hebrews faithfully, and righteously, all became known as The Jews. Rather beautiful.
@deejannemeiurffnicht1791 Жыл бұрын
And, further on the Tabernacle template within Revelation is that as the Hebrews moved on their journey beginning with Moses (Moshé) the camp and Tabernacle were struck and dismantled according to a strict protocol signaled by SEVEN TRUMPETS (Shoffar, rams horns). And that's EXACTLY what's gonna happen in n a deep way as Messiah comes and helps us cut the crap. Rejecting Judaism is to be the builders who forgot the most important stone!
