I would say be careful of putting down Christian teachings as a whole. We know people have corrupted a lot of their book and teachings, but it originated from Allah and there are parts of the Bible and Christianity that are still from the original teachings. Allah knows best which teachings

Can understand and respect your point, however my comments were from a personal point. Having grown up on the Church (literally, the church is right next door to my childhood home), never ever did I hear the Pastor give an explanation, teaching with clarity as given in the video. That includes various churches attended / visited prior to hearing the " caller, calling people to faith". The thing that was constantly taught was a people who was chosen, not why they were chosen or what that statement actually meant. It's like if I say so then it is so. Stop the average person on the street and ask what does the name Yacub (Jacob) mean and the true meaning of Israel and see what they say. Yes, Allah knows best.!!!

You use the words "how to fight", that's exactly the difference between us apparently. We (the Jews) have never sought wars with you or to abolish your religion (Islam), because we know the truth. Everything is written in the Torah and in other books written hundreds of years before the establishment of Islam, and therefore you are of no real interest to us. Believe what you want, we will believe what we want, and we can all live in peace. Unfortunately, it was the Prophet Muhammad who called for brutalizing and exterminating the Jews in Arab countries, and thus for hundreds of years the Jews were persecuted long before the State of Israel was even established in 1948. My family came to Israel from Iran, and they have many stories of persecution and hatred by their Muslim neighbors. This is exactly what I have been curious about while Quran recitation this Ramadan! Though I still wonder what is the connection of this with those "who must not be named"? Why did they name their state as such? Is there any mention of it in the previous Abrahamic religions?

I disagree on some points. The lineage of the Jewish people from Jacob/Israel is not questioned by the strict islamic schools. I remember a Sheikh saying "to us a Christian must prove his ancient lineage of Christians. A Jew does not have to". Also Israel did indeed exist in ancient times, not in the times of Jacob of course but during King David. That being said, of course no one condones the horrors the modern state of Israel on the Palestinians.

Yaaqoob - Issraaeel - Imraan ---------------------------------------------- - Yaaqoob is not because he was born after his twin brother; it is because he had grandsons and granddaughters such as "Maryama ibnata Imraan". - Issraaeel is is the captive of Allaah. Issraaeel is the one whom Allaah took on a journey through the ages. - Imraan is one whom Allaah granted longevity to the extent that he lived for less or more than a thousand years like Adam and Nooh. The Quraan mentions the children of Adam, the children of Issraaeel, and the offspring of Nooh.

Let me show you something about an huge issue with those called the orthodox Jews. They say they descend from the mothers instead of their fathers lineage. This goes back to the book of Ruth and Kimg David. Ruth is a moabite and Moab is forbidden forever from joining us. The Jews seem to descend from Ruth the moabite who married Boaz an Isra'elite. GOD says we descend from our FATHERS not the daughters, this is even in Quran. Surah 17 ayat 40. When you Love and Know scripture, the Torah then you recognize everything in Quran from the ETERNAL, FROM ALLAH. We need not prop up the prophets, they were men who GOD chose to speak to us through, they are men.

There is a big difference between Beni Israël (the israelites) and the israelis citizens. Beni Israël are descendants of Prophet Jacob. Historical facts: Many jews were converted to Christianity and Islam. Most of palestinians are descendant of ancient israelites. There are more chances for a palestinian than a jew to be descendant of the israelites. The Ashkenazis jews, for example, aren't even semite. So don't make the mistake and believe that jews and israelites are the same.
