(Genesis 49) Each brother received a blessing from their father Jacob (Israel). I hope this is a help and blessing.

Perhaps, knowing his character as fearless and vengeful, it can probably be said that they were men of war (warriors), which might explain why the Simeonites were situated with the tribe of Judah near the Philistines (Gaza). According to the blessings of Jacob, they would also be scattered among Israel, separated from Levi. You probably already know this, but Zimri who was a Simeonite took Cozbi the Midianite.. in front of Moses and the whole congregation (talk about fearless), which lead Pinchas to do what he had to do. What adds confusion, is that when the Assyrians invaded after they took the ten northern tribes captive, they also reached down into Judah and took some Jews from Judah and some from Benjamin and Levi and also took them captive to Assyria. So all twelve tribes were included in the Captivity into Assyria. After Assyria fell in 604 BC the Israelite there then began moving through the Israel pass in the Caucasus to move in groups up into Europe. When this happened others called them Caucasians.

Interesting. Most of them went into Africa. They were later joined there after Jerusalem fell by the some of Judah, Benjamin and Levi. The Lembe tribe in South Africa are the remnants of the Levites, confirmed by DNA tests showing they belong to the E1B1a haplogroup of the ancient Israelites. Guess who belong to that group too, as a whole? The Bantu people, proving that they too are possibly the remnants of the 10 lost tribes of Israel. Indeed, this haplogroup is minimal in Europe and the Middle East, while plentiful in Africa. I wonder when the pass of Caucasus was so named.

There is a legal matter here. Jacob gave Ephraim the birthright. In that was included the right to use the name Israel. Therefore it is correct to call Ephraim and the ten tribes under the Ephraim's leadership Israel, aka THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL. After God divorced them they lost their right to use the name Israel, but the House of Judah still does not have the right to call itself Israel in a legal way. They were from Israel but were not given the birthright.

Most people do not correctly divide the Word. After the split between the 12 tribes when the bible says Israel it means the 10 northern tribes, and it mentions Judah separately. The prophecy of Israel 'being as numerous as the sand of the sea" has NEVER applied to Judah and Benjamin, who even today number only a few million. The Ezekiel prophecy of the 2 sticks of Israel anf Judah being reunited means that in God's eyes Israel although lost, still exists. I happen to think they're mainly amongst the European nations, who strangely became Christians and preached the gospel to the rest of the world, even though they'd forgotten their heritage. We'll hsve to wait and see, although it no longer matters as anyone can be saved and grafted in through faith in Hesus/Yeshua

This part has more meat than part one. Still not sure where Tom is going with this but he did a good job of covering 2 Kings 17. The end of part 2 is somewhat disappointing since the video he recommends by Simcha Jacobovici is a wild goose chase. One should not study the 10 tribes without reading a book from 1902 called, "Judah's Sceptre and Joseph's Birthright. Read the book yourself. Take what you hear about the author, J.H. Israel was only scattered into these nations mentioned in 1 Peter 1 Mountains near the Black Sea. The Holy Bible states that the House of Israel would be scattered north of the river Euphrates (I Kings 14:15). This promise was fulfilled when, from 745-721 B.C., all ten tribes were taken captive and driven by the Assyrians into the Caucasus region between the Black and Caspian Seas II Kings 18:9 "And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it." II Kings 18:13 Makes it clear that much of the House of Judah was also taken by Assyria and most likely went with the House of Israel over the Caucasus Mountains after the power of Assyrians was broken. That means it was only those in and around Jerusalem who were left of the House of Judah for Nebuchadnezzor to carry into Babylon 135 years later. Ephraim received the birthright prophecy from the patriarch, Israel to become a Great Company of Nations. I had learned through E. Raymond Capt 's works, Ephraim was most likely Great Britain who once had colonies throughout the world, even ceding back the ancient Holy Land to Judah after the Holocaust, via United Nations voting approval. Manasseh is America who was foretold would become a great nation. I don't know if these identifications are correct but God knows where the tribes are located and His Words will come to pass. PART of the inhabitants of the northern kingdom 'Israel' were deported by the Assyrians and spread around their empire, BUT when the Assyrian invasion was imminent, those living in the northern kingdom who had remained faithful to Yehovah migrated south to the kingdom of Judah and settled around Jerusalem, their houses being incorporated by enlarging the walls of Jerusalem, so that the city was now three times its previous size. This has been demonstrated for A LONG TIME by archaeology and contemporary records so that in Jesus' day, there were descendants of ALL of the tribes of Israel living in Judea
