I am a 73 year old man and I have spent the better part of my life trying to understand why I seem to always feel a certain sadness in my heart. Then I thought, maybe this had something to do with it. Hopefully this story brings out others like me. In 1963 Zionists came to my home in Casablanca Morocco, to convince my parents to send me and my little sister to Israel without them. I was 12 and my sister 9 when we started our miserable journey to the "Promised land". It destroyed our family and left me and my sister with long lasting scars neither one of us has been able to heal. Being from Morocco made it even more difficult to live in a more racist country than Morocco ever was. We had a very peaceful life as Jews living amongst Muslims in Morocco. We understood each other and helped each other. To this day, the principal advisor to King Mohamed is a Jew. But the Zionists needed boddies to fill Israel and slowly claim more and more land from the Palestinians they kept displacing. The people running Israel are not Jews. True Jews would have helped the Palestinians evolve and share in their fortunes, like we did for centuries in the Arab world. Israel claims it is defending itself? Against whom? The people they have been displacing and opressing for 80 years? Israel, my advice to you, if you want to survive, get rid of the religious zealots who run your government and join the 21st century.

But even if Israel was a place of freedom and love, Palestinians are excluded from that despite having more historic claim to the land than many Jewish people who get automatic citizenship. Palestinians who want to be full citizens of Israel have to agree that Israel is first a Jewish state. A government that purposefully excludes and recruits voters based on race or religion is not a democracy. In democracies, the people are supposed to elect the leaders; the leaders are not supposed to recruit international voters to maintain a majority. And if it’s not clear, other people being worse does not mean Israel gets a pass on the bad things it does. Even if Palestinians were the worst humans on the planet, they still have human rights that need to be respected, or else no one has human rights.

There has never been a palestinian people. If there were than Jews who also lived there - just as Arabs - are also "palestinians." They even imposed “palestine” passports for the inhabitants of the combined region. So ask yourself: where is the evidence that proves that there was an ancient palestinian State? Where are the old scrolls that describes its history - in it mentioned old Kings, old Rulers, old Governments and Government buildings - where are the old cities, old coins, old ruins, old roads, old harbors, even songs ??? THEY CAN’T SHOW ANY OF THESE MENTIONED ARTIFACTS ! Israel on the other hand CAN show MILLIONS of mentioned history and artifacts that PROVE they belong there. They might be the penultimate war machine, but it barely compares to the US- their colonisation of indigenous land is so absolute that people don't even talk about it in terms of apartheid or call out the specific ideologies that underpin their colonialism like manifest destiny; nowhere near to the same extent that people rightly address Israel's crimes against humanity. The unfortunate reality is that Israel is simply imitating the tactics of other colonial regimes around the world like the United States of America and Australia. Things like South African and Israel apartheid happened after the invention of film cameras and so the things they did and in the latter case do are simply better documented; especially Israel who are conducting this apartheid in the smart phone age when anyone can whip out a high definition camera and capture what their doing at pretty much any moment. It's not a coincidence that colonial regimes like the United States back Israel's colonialism, they're all running experiments in the same laboratory and it benefits every colonial state to explore new tactics for subjugating native opposition.
