@ 13:03 I must correct Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed. Israel did not attack Arab countries in 1967. On the contrary, Arab countries - Egypt, Jordan and Syria attacked Israel but Israelis defeated them and won Sinai and Gaza from Egypt, West Bank from Jordan and Golan Heights from Syria. Arabs were the aggressors. Ideally, Gaza should be handed over to Egypt and the West Bank to Jordan - let Egypt and Jordan sort the Palestine problem.

It was Israel that preemptively struck the Egypt and Syria. The Airforce of both countries were destroyed within few hours on the first day of the war. Why don't you just google it.

Till middle eastern societies can afford minorities full religious cultural and linguistic rights, there is a case for an Israel which is after all a very small piece of land compared to 57 Muslim countries. The problem is actually this monstrous Islamic hubris and ego that cannot countenance a once subjugated people regain their sovereignty.

not just that, moslames beleive they have the true god and they are superior people and must rule over all the world. when they see all other religions progressing, they get very angry why that is so. instead of questioning their own stupidity, they think that they have strayed away from olla and thus want to become even more easelamic !! their jealousy does not allow them to live in peace. they have so much more than what is real has still isreal is so powerful. they just dont understand that they are stuck in time (7th century) and unless they progress they will never be able to beat anybody in any race

Why should Palestinians give up land, after the UN charter of 1945? Just because of the British engineered partition.. Pakistani Punjabis are skating on thin ice by asking this question. You are very much guilty of ethnic cleansing and squatting on land and property of original owners. And that experience is also a cautionary tale for the likes of Israel. Muslims will never live as equal citizens with others wherever they have the numbers and political heft or muscle power.

the 1967 aka six days war between Israel and Arab states (primarily syria, egypt and jordan) was not a war initiated Israel. It was suppose to be a surprise attack and invasion from the arab states. And it resulted in a big loss for the arabs...jordan lost west bank, syria lost golan heights and egypt lost an entire province plus gaza. Israel already knew about the invasion through their own agents inside those countries plus US intelligence. So they launched an preemptive strike on the invading forces.

Dr Ishtiaq believes their should be 2 states and Palestinian state should be weak and should not have security apparatus.This shows who much flawed his moral compass is. "Only because Dr ishtiaq is secular person so he can never be wrong and Israel also presents itself as a secular state and Muslims tends to be more conservative ones. So that is why Israelis should have upper hand in middle east dispite they are colonisers they are commiting war crimes. Only their ideology mach with mine." In the end he mentioned that people should forget past and move forward and he supports a state that was not of Jews for past 1900 years based on religious belief of promised land. In my opinion Dr. Ishtiaq seems like a person with inferior psychology who is impressed by the western society with superior psychology. And don't condemns secular society on its hypocrisy. Rather blaming Muslims if the try to regain their right to live as a free nation.
