Was just about to add this as well, it is technically the 2nd fastest but the first was more a rocket than an actual fighter jet and was never commissioned. The blackbird is the only jet capable of flying over Mach 3.0 and there’s only 5 of them in the world. Was used for reconnaissance but we do that with satellites now instead of fighter jets…all the more reason to understand the necessity of the Space Force-that’s what they do-satellites/reconnaissance etc etc.

Also worth noting…the blackbird jet has ties to the latest Top Gun Movie-ironically they are flying into Iran in the movie. The plane used in the movie is technically “not in existence,” (Darkstar SR-72) but there is rumored to be a successor to the blackbird SR-71 that the jets in the movie were modeled after…also worth noting they are Air Force planes, not Navy lol.

WOW! This past Friday night, Oct 6, I was awakened by a loud rumbling. I looked out my windows n searched around the house trying to determine where the rumbling was coming from. That song, "Blackbird" came up in my spirit when I was praying last Thursday night. I didn't know what it was about and I don't usually get secular songs in the spirit, except lately! The song from Peter and the Wolf has been coming up to me lately. Op. 67. I looked up Strong's meaning and scriptural references to number 67 and what I am seeing is the end of a reign of terror. I also read the story of Peter and the Wolf and it is a bird that distracts the wolf so that Peter can catch him. What I have unpacked is that the enemy is trying to terrorize, but the Lord will use this to save many nations, including Israel who will come to know Jesus Christ as Messiah! I have been prompted to sing the hymn "All Hail the Power of Jesus Name" the past few days. 1 All hail the power of Jesus' name! Let angels prostrate fall.
