Israel's Defence Minister Yoav Gallant rejects the idea of the establishment of a Palestinian state

In a leaked audio recording obtained by Israeli news channel Kan 11, Israel's Defence Minister Yoav Gallant is heard rejecting the idea of the establishment of a Palestinian state and urging people to "​​ignore" statements made by the US on the matter. Along with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Gallant is one of the two Israeli officials included in the ICC prosecutor’s arrest warrant applications over alleged war crimes committed in Palestine’s Gaza.

Midnight May 14th 1948 Israel declared "ITSELF" To be a nation. 12 minutes later the USA recognised the state of Israel. It was not until May 10th 1949 that the UN recognised the state of Israel. Because over that 11 month period the USA made it known they would use their veto to prevent "any" objections, and in fact bullied nations to vote in favour.
